  The location was perfect. A short walk from the train station. The restaurants across the street were fantastic. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very helpful with maps and arranged for our airport pickup.   Made to feel special from the first minute.

  I was blown away by this hotel. It is half way between Termini and the main historic sites of the Colosseum and the Forum. It is a moderately busy location and because of that you never feel unsafe walking along Via Cavour.When you first arrive you ring the front door and are buzzed in. I was met at the top of the first flight of stairs by a member of staff who couldn't have been lovelier. The formalities were done, some tourism recommendations were given, and I was shown to my room. It was a compact but modern room with a bathroom that included a jacuzzi bath. All manner of toiletries were provided including a welcome pack containing toothbrush, toothpaste, ear buds, a nail file, soap etc etc. In my room was a complimentary bottle of wine. I hadn't expected that, and it really made me feel welcome. A few minutes later there was a knock at the door. When I opened it, the friendly member of staff from earlier had a glass of prosecco and some nibbles for me. I have never had such a wonderful first few minutes in a hotel.There is nothing about this stay that I can find fault with. It was great from start to finish. Everything from the external door to the interior door and your room door are accessed via a key card. If you want to leave your bags for your final day, they give you a code to let yourself in as the hotel is unstaffed after 3pm.The price was excellent, and while the fact that it was November may have been a factor, this is a place I would stay in again and gladly pay more for. relais forusinn, Owner at Relais Forus Inn, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share your experience.   Fantastic Hotel, Ideally situated

  What a brilliant little gem of a hotel. 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum, everything else very close.Tha hotel itself is only 10 beds but it is first class, very clean, the staff were amazing nothing was too much for them. Great continental breakfast served to your room at a pre arranged time, and all produce was fresh.   Do not stay here! Our room had such a strong odor of must/mildew it was hard to breathe. The shower had mildew/mold everywhere. I wiped one of the tiles with the rag and that’s what came off. The walls were disgusting. The WiFi is useless as it doesn’t work. So glad we only had to stay one night. We would’ve had to cancel our reservation if it were longer. Never had such a bad experience

  Overall I would say 4.5 stars. The staff was excellent! Helpful, kind, great service. Room service was on time to the exact minute. They did every thing to make our stay pleasant. They were 10/10. The WiFi was awful. Cut out every few minutes. Couldn’t get a consistent signal. The room was tight to stay for 5 days. We did have tiny balcony that helped. The shower was decent size for Italy. Location was great! No crowds right outside our door. Close enough between things to do and the train station.
