    Fantastic Boutique Rome Hotel

    This was our third time staying at  Relais Giulia and it was perfect. This small hotel maintains an authentic Roman feel with just the right amount of upscale features. It's definitely a boutique hotel, specifically it's small with only a handful of rooms, and it now has limited front desk hours (since the last time we stayed), but it is reasonably priced, immaculately clean, and the location is ideal, in particular Via Giulia is wonderfully quiet at night. We found the staff to be fantastic and helpful, in particular the front desk clerk Asci was amazing. He was extremely helpful, check in was a breeze, and he made sure we had everything we needed.Relais Giulia is an easy recommendation, a really great hotel.

    STUNNING BOUTIQUE HOTEL!

    This boutique hotel was absolutely amazing. It was the most beautiful quaint place and centrally located! The breakfast was delicious. The staff made my son & I feel so comfortable. We will definitely return. Thanks Ashi for your hospitality.

    Staff was very helpful and housekeeping provided extra towels when requested. The room was very spacious for Rome and had lovely wood beams and a faux fireplace. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean aside from the tile floor which apparently hadn't been mopped in a while. The bathroom was large with a very spacious shower. I highly recommend Relais Giulia!

    It was a long climb to our room, it was on the 5th Floor. They have a small elevator, but I’m claustrophobic.It’s a very neat, remodelled 500 year old building. They serve a tasty, hot breakfast, along with lots of cold choices and great cappuccinos.Our bed was very comfortable, a new foam mattress. As well the pillow and bedding were great. The room was spacious, quiet and faced an inside courtyard. The bathroom was compact and challenging to maneuver with my husband in there. The shower doors leaked. There was limited surfaces to set our toiletry cases on. And probably the worse part was the immediate step out to the landing at the top of the cement stairs.We didn’t let this take away from enjoying Rome and the overall stay at this boutique hotel.

    Good Location, Not Good Service

    My wife and I picked this hotel do to it being in between the Vatican and the Colosseum (about 1.5 mile walk from each). We were able to walk successfully to everything we wanted to see. However, the hotel staff was only at the front desk from 8:00-5:00, so if you ever had any questions or needed help after-hours they were not very accessible. Our room was nice, but we will probably stay somewhere else in the future.
