    Such lovely people, so kind. Central to everything with bus stops right outside the door and such a quiet location. Me and my sister inlaw stayed for a week and we'll definitely be back.

    Don’t stay here

    We left yesterday and were very disappointed. This is our second time staying here and Vera was extremely rude. She had a horrible attitude when she had to check us out and when she realized we were not the people she was mad at she said “I thought you were those Mexicans in room 4”. She tried to overcharge us but ended up giving us our money back. We never ate breakfast there as we left early in the morning while we stayed there but still don’t think she should have talked to us that way

    This was our third stay at Residenza Ave Roma and it was as delightful as previous stays. It’s location right by the river near Ponte Sant’Angelo is perfect - we easily walked to St Peter’s, The Vatican, Castel Sant’Angelo, Pizza Navona, The Pantheon and Piazza del Popolo, we even walked to The Colosseum although this took about 40 mins. The hotel itself is beautifully clean and comfortable, excellent air conditioning and comfy beds. The hotel has a small number of rooms and breakfast is self service. Antonio and Vera really looked after us, they couldn’t have been more helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

    Great Location and Very nice Stay. The staff is very small however very professional and friendly. They make you feel as if your at home. I consider this the best place I've stayed. Vincenzo and Vera are the best. Walking distance from everything. A++++

    Was made to feel unwelcomeI booked a twin bed room for my friend and I.Then was informed there were only doubles left.I said well I could book another right now if I go on you website , it’s on your system that there are twins left?He said that’s all there is available I’d spent hours picking the right area and hotel.After a few days I was informed there was a twin available .. which was good This was our first trip to Rome and thinking one of us would have to sleep in the floor cause some stress.When we arrived the owner came down and said “ you caused so much trouble ‘ that I was a problem !!!!Not a welcome I’d like when paying to stay at your hotel.Like it was my fault !!!!Rome was nice but lower than ground level felt oppressive didn’t feel safe ..Rome is amazing but wouldn’t stay here againBe careful when you book that the room you are booking is actually available !!
