Pleased the Manager moved us to another hotel...(2am I must add), due to other holiday makers overstaying in the hotel, therefore no room at the inn as pre booked and paid...😔 Farini hotel was perfect😉

    Disappointing

    rating22 Aug 2017

They're too good in showing and promoting this bed and breakfast, but in the reality we can say that this bed and breakfast is not worth the price at all. We spent almost 110 euro for 3 nights, which it was not even bad, but all the rooms and bathroom need to be seriously refurbished. The room we have been staying was quite big, but the bed and mattress were super old, super old and cheap furniture and the towels and bed sheets were dirty. Me and my boyfriend are quite easygoing, but I guess not everyone would love to sleep in such a room.

    Not safe

    rating31 May 2017

My partner and I had to stay here after an error made by the company we booked our original accommodation through. If we'd had another choice we would not have stayed here.We were very disappointed on arrival. We waited for a long time in the corridor of what I assume is the owner's very messy apartment, before being lead on foot to another site, which took a long time as the host stopped to talk to people that she knew in the street. When we arrived at the property we were shown in to a very basic room which had a wardrobe, bed, ceiling fan, and a cheap plastic stool (the type you'd have for a toddler to stand on to reach the loo or sink, but much flimsier), and a fold out chair which we used as bedside tables. There is no kettle, but there is a fridge in the communal hallway. The owner greatly emphasised that if the doorbell rang we were not to answer, which was a little alarming, but not quite as concerning as the fact that the door to our room, and private bathroom (which you had to access via the communal corridor) were blank keys. Someone tried to get into the bathroom a couple of times whilst I was in there, it felt really unsafe. The light in the corridor didn't work for 4 of the 5 nights of our stay, so it was really frustrating if you needed to use the bathroom after dark. There were cardboard boxes piled up in the room, the towels provided were really old. There was a television in the room but no cable to power it.For breakfast you get a coupon to go to the cafe next door where you get a pastry and a coffee.

    Very friendly host!!

Stayed here for two nights with my teenage daughter. Wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews! It cost us €60. That's €15 each a night! It's a 10 minute walk from Roma termini. Very easy to get to. I'd recommend downloading Ulma city maps to go, as you can find places even offline which is really good and it's how I found how to get to the B&B. It's in an apartment block. Ring the bell and you're then directed in. Once in, our host, who was very friendly and spoke English, who also lived there, gave us maps and information on buses etc...we had full use of the kitchen if needed. Breakfast included( cereal, breads, cakes, tea, coffee and juice)Towels given. Shared bathroom/shower with hot water and a hair dryer. We had a big double room with a double bed and a single. We went out early on the Saturday morning and when we arrived back at our room we had fresh fruit and sweets in our room. A lovely touch! We felt safe safe in the area day and night. I would definitely stay here again.

Basic bedroom at the owner's flat

    rating05 Jan 2017

Stayed for 3 nights with my girlfriend. The bedroom was quite simple, and the bed comfortable. Pros: * The location is quite good, right next to the subway station Vittorio Emanuele. * Monica and Giulia are really friendly and attentive.Cons: * Two times someone tried to open the door, which was locked.* Since there's people living in the flat, I once felt uncomfortable while having breakfast and listened to them speaking strongly in chinese at each other.
