    We experienced several issues with our room, including a previous leak that had caused the wallpaper to tear and bulge, resulting in a moldy smell and damaged drywall. Additionally, some electrical outlets were not functioning, and a lamp was broken. While these issues were significant, the primary concern revolved around a pair of sandals purchased for my mother on the first day of our arrival in Rome. The sandals, which were left in the room, disappeared , leaving only the receipt behind. We promptly notified the hotel staff about the missing items upon discovering them gone, and our iPad, which was recording, had been moved and was facing our luggage, suggesting that one of the maids had accessed our room. Despite reporting the discrepancies to the hotel, the sandals were not recovered. Given the circumstances, it is clear that the sandals were stolen. Notably, our luggage had been opened as we placed the zippers to the right side together. We only had a room cleaned once. No one had been in the room. Also, the front desk staff was very brief and yet rude. The service staff for breakfast is very kind and very attentive. The woman checked us in on our first day was also very kind ! We gladly gave a gratuity to all those who served us with kindness and prompt service. We had no problem doing so. It’s a very unfortunate that our sandals were taken. Would never recommend this hotel absolutely not due to the fact of the distance from the hotel to Rome and the unprofessional staff and severe discrepancies with the room security. Our dinner was good however we had to wait 45 minutes to receive it after ordering.     The spa recently opened up, very spacious and very well planned out. It's run by a separate company, we believe. No robes in the room or slippers. When you go to the spa, you have to rent a towel, no robe and slippers available. Unrealistic.

    Nothing good to say about this hotel apart from it's close'ish location to the airport. It's old and tired and both the hotel exterior, public places and rooms need maintenance and refurbishment. it's looking very very dated and run down. High price for such a poor place and not worthy of the Marriott brand.     We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Rome Park Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. Our room was comfortable and nicely presented, and all the staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay.The restaurants were excellent, offering great quality food at reasonable prices. A special thank you to Massimo, who was exceptionally friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome.Overall, a great experience—we would happily return.
