Lovely stay for a family trip to Rome

    rating27 May 2026

Stayed for 4 nights with my husband and 2 children (6 and 10) in a junior suite in the annex building. Lovely hotel, very clean, comfortable beds, good size room. Roof terrace was a real bonus. I was worried about reviews re no bathroom door but ours had a frosted glass sliding door which was perfectly fine. Loved the location of this hotel, about a 5 or 10 min walk to the trevi fountain but away from all the busy crowds. Would definitely return. Tip - there is a daily city charge of c €20 per day to pay on checkout which I wasn’t expecting but understand is standard. Just keep this in mind. Marco Di Menna, Direttore generale at Rome Times Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your family stay with us. We are also pleased that the bathroom layout met your expectations and contributed positively to your experience.Your comments regarding our location are especially appreciated. Being within walking distance of Rome’s main attractions while offering a quieter atmosphere is something many of our guests value, and we are delighted this enhanced your family trip.Thank you as well for mentioning the city tax, which is applied in accordance with local regulations and is collected at check-out. We appreciate your helpful note for future travellers. It means a great deal to us to know that you would choose to stay with us again, and we sincerely look forward to welcoming you and your family back for another memorable visit to Rome.Kind regards

    Very Cosy, Comfortable and Clean.

    rating27 May 2026

Excellent experience throughout. My wife and I needed a break and escape from our lives in the U.K. and this was the perfect place to do so. Great rooms, comfortable and clean and roomy. The food and drink was ideal to our personal tastes, and the staff were very warm, friendly and caring. We felt at home and loved the atmosphere there. We would return if we go back to Rome. Also, the position of the place suited us to explore around and visit the sites of interest. I can highly recommend this place if you are in Rome, and am happy to share more about specific parts of the experience, should you wish to contact me. Happy travels! Adequate but not exceptional

    rating22 May 2026

We arrived at the hotel early and our rooms were not ready. The concierge tagged them and they were stored by the front desk. When we arrived later to check in, we retrieved our bags from the front desk area and made our way to the room. The room was on the first floor (107) right by the top of the steps and elevator. It was small but adequate. We had a large windows with an inaccessible balcony. The view was nice however the street below was very busy. It was apparent that this would be an issue as the noise permitted the walls (especially sirens from emergency vehicles which came by often). What we did not count on was the noise from the bar downstairs. It traveled up the steps and continued until around 11pm. This included people talking, music and singing and was very loud, making it impossible to fall asleep. Breakfast was decent. The staff at times seemed put off by our request for cappuccino and café Americana although it had been offered on previous days. We found the staff at both the front desk and the restaurant to perform their duties adequately, but not in the welcoming manner which we had at the two other hotels on our trip. This was my 4th hotel stay in Rome and the most expensive. This hotel is in a good location with easy access to most attractions. It is adequate, but not exceptional. Marco Di Menna, Direttore generale at Rome Times Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your recent stay with us. We truly appreciate every comment, as they help us better understand our guests’ experiences and continue improving our service. We are pleased to know that you appreciated our central location, which indeed allows guests to easily explore Rome’s main attractions on foot. We are also glad that you found the room clean and the breakfast enjoyable during your stay.At the same time, we sincerely regret that some aspects of your experience did not fully meet your expectations. We understand how important comfort and rest are, especially after a day spent discovering the city. While our central location is one of the hotel’s strengths, it can occasionally come with the lively atmosphere typical of Rome’s historic center. We are particularly sorry that the noise from the street and the bar area disturbed your evenings and affected the quality of your sleep.Regarding your comments about the service, we are disappointed to learn that the interactions with our staff did not feel as warm and welcoming as they should have. Courtesy, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality are values we deeply care about, and your observations have been shared with both our reception and breakfast teams for careful review. We certainly never wish any guest to feel uncomfortable when making a simple request. We are grateful for your honest feedback and for highlighting both the positive and the areas where we can improve. We truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide you with a more memorable and fully satisfying experience.Kind Regards

Great location, clean rooms, helpful staff

    rating21 May 2026

There's a lot to love with this hotel. The location is great, just a few blocks walk to the Colisseum and other Palentine Hill sights, across the street from the Palazzo Esposizioni Roma art museum, and close to restaurants and shopping. Our room was spacious and clean, with a fully stocked mini fridge. And the rooftop terrace was a great place to relax with a beautiful vista of the Eternal City. The best thing about Rome Times Hotel, however, is the staff. It starts with the bell staff, which took care of our luggage when we arrived before our room was ready ... and had everything already in the room once it finally became available. The wonderful front desk clerk gave us a great restaurant recommendation for lunch and answered every question and request we had with a smile and the housekeeping staff seemed to straighten up our room literally every time we went out.Although we didn't get to sample the on-site restaurant for dinner, it seemed like a lively place -- with live music on Saturday night. And the breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of hot, cold, savory and sweet options! Marco Di Menna, Direttore generale at Rome Times Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We are truly delighted to read that you appreciated our central location, the comfort and cleanliness of your room, as well as the atmosphere of our rooftop terrace overlooking the Eternal City. We are proud to know that the dedication and professionalism of our bell staff, front desk team, and housekeeping personnel contributed positively to your experience. Providing attentive and personalized service is one of our highest priorities, and your appreciation is the greatest reward for our daily commitment. We are also pleased that you enjoyed our breakfast selection and the lively ambiance of the restaurant during your stay. We truly hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again soon, perhaps also for dinner, in order to make your next visit even more memorable.Thank you once again for choosing Rome Times Hotel and for recommending us.Warm regards

    Delightful dinner

    rating18 May 2026

Restaurant review only! My brother and I were not guests at the hotel but we made a reservation for dinner on May 2026. We were greeted and treated kindly by the staff! Daniel and Giulio are great! They listed to our questions patiently. They accommodated allergies and modifications with a positive attitude. I had a burger and asked for it not t have pink and they were great about it! I had a mocktail that was yummy too. Restaurant was clean, had a great ambience. Great place for a quiet evening dinner.
