    Amazing 4 nights.

    rating02 Jun 2026

We recently stayed for four nights at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed by the fantastic price and convenient location. Bus stops are nearby so there’s easy access to Rome but the neighbourhood itself is just as beautiful and green. The metro station is also not too far away. The staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, always happy to help with any problems or questions. A special mention goes to Mr Salvatore, the wonderful man who works the bar on the beautiful rooftop terrace, we will return just for him. The rooms were just what you need after a busy day of sightseeing. They were clean and offered great value for money. We absolutely loved our stay and will keep it in mind for our return to Rome.

Great hotel see my detailed review

    rating05 Apr 2026

Just returned from a 4 night Trip. As a family from the UK with two boys 11 and 13. Really pleased with the hotel, staff and location. Send me a message if any specific questions, and below is a more in depth review aimed at the facts. Not that we needed any help but there was always a pleasant face on reception and they always wished us a good day and welcomed us back.We were on the 1st floor. Quad Room which was a double and two singles. We found the beds comfy, but we do prefer them slightly firmer so this suited us. Room was basic however very clean and every day when we came back, the beds had been made, rubbish emptied etc. There's a fridge and a safe and plenty of space in the wardrobe. Nice toiletries supplied. TV is no good if you only speak English however this was not a problem for us. Wifi easy to connect to in reception on arrival and was excellent speed throughout our stay. We found the hotel to be very quiet both inside and out and our room was also overlooking the front gate. You have to press a buzzer to be let in, so the gate is opening and closing all the time, but I really did not think this was noisy at all. I believe the hotel was also full but other than hearing the odd door close and seeing people in the reception area waiting for taxis etc, we might as well have had the place to ourselves. Aircon I am not sure if this worked or if it was just me not understanding it. In all honesty it did not bother us enough otherwise i'd have just asked reception. The only thing I think they need to improve on is the breakfast. At 10eu each costing me 40eu for a family of 4 for a breaksfast that was very basic (continental basically). If you have a child that only wants a bowl of cereal in a morning then that's an expensive bowl of cereal. I was not however expecting it to be great from the other reviews and only used it on our first day as we had an early start for the Colosseum. From then on I think I had the best breakfast routine. Go to the Carfour supermarket at the top of the road (few mins walk). I did this the night before when walking back from the Metro stop as you pass it. Got fresh fruit, ham, cheese, lovely bread etc. and had breakfast in the room. Also bought some wine and beers to keep in the room. There are a number of cafes within a few mins walk for a coffee in the morning and it's very cheap, or get one on your way to the bus stop or Metro.Location is in a quiet neighbourhood where everyone lives in flats/apartments. Although there was a lot of litter and a lot of dog mess around, both on the streets, footpaths and in the park/green space opposite. I think part of the reason for this is everyone using communal bins which clearly are not emptied enough. And clearly picking up dog mess is not as big a deal as it is in other countries. Although I saw lots of people walking their dogs and they always picked it up. The park was full of it though. It felt very safe, any locals I walked past and in the local cafes etc all seemed absolutley lovely, very friendly and polite and I liked being in a residential neighbourhood and seeing how they do things. Don't forget you can drink the water and it tastes amazing too! there are also free water fountains all over rome and one just up the road from the hotel, great for filling up your water bottles.Local wise it's not that far away from various sites. I downloaded all these travel apps but really all you need is apple or google maps. Put in where you want to go and select public transport and chose your option as there are numerous ways you can get to where you want. You can walk to the nearest Metro which is about 10-15 mins walk. Or you can get the bus which stops literally right behind the hotel. Bus will often be quicker as it's more direct, plus you get to look out the windows. Either way Tap your card at the machine on the bus for 100 mins of travel for 1.5eu. Same price at the Metro you just tap your card to go through the turnstyle. We only used the bus to get to where we needed, then walked around all day and got the bus or Metro back. Do this rather than buying a day pass you may only use once or twice because even if you do use it lots, you won't have loads of charges, it's capped at a certain amount which I think is the day rate anyway. There are a few local Food restaurants. Again it was great to be the only English eating in a local restaurant and seeing local families meeting for a meal and socialising etc. Staff always welcomed us and prices were reasonable. On checkout we were allowed to leave our bags in a secure area of the hotel so we could go explore for our last day before heading back to the hotel to collect our luggage. Using the app FreeNow which is like Uber for the return trip.

    Good clean hotel

    rating24 Feb 2026

Just returned from a 7 night stay as a family of 7 in 2 rooms. The rooms were lovely and very clean, we had 4 people in one room and 3 in the other. we ate breakfast every morning in the roof top terrace. The food was lovely but one of the staff members was quite rude and even accused us of stealing a spoon from the buffet and searched our table after we told them we didn't have it.During our visit the hotel had a large group of school children on site and 3 nights in a row they woke us up late running around the corridors shouting and ringing our door bell. when we told reception on the first night it happened, who surely must have heard, they just said we will have a word but we had the same the following 2 nights. After the children had left the room next to us was occupied by someone with a dog who barked in the night so that woke us up as well. so we had 4 nights out of 7 with very little sleep. It was such a shame as we liked the hotel itself and it was easy to get to attractions and the metro etc but the experience did put us off returning to the hotel in future.

I would like to commend the staff for their hospitality. They were friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant was an unexpected pleasure after a full day of activity. Diane

    Not a very comfortable stay

    rating29 Sept 2025

The room was supposed to be a double bed but it ended up to very small singles. The waitress in the breakfast restuarant was very rude. The hotel isn’t well built and you can hear every movement from the neibouring rooms and when we complained about the noise they did nothing
