    DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!The staff are ignorant, rude, and unwilling to help. They charged us twice and refused to assist us on site. They just kept saying they hadn’t done it, even though I showed them the charge from my bank as well as the emails from them. I have never been treated so badly by any hotel in my entire life!The hotel itself was dull and very basic. It was nowhere near as cozy and inviting as it looks in the pictures. We had upgraded to a Superior Double City View room. I honestly don’t believe for a second that the room we got was a superior room, and the “city view” was just a huge building right outside the window! We had also prepaid for a bottle of wine that should be there when we arrived. There were nothing there and they said they could'nt see that we had book it even though the offer of booking came from them.Terrible place!

    Location was good as well as the overall cleanliness of the hotel. However, the room was not up to standard, we purchased a room with a mini bar/fridge and a bath - upon arrival our room had neither, when queried we were told none of their rooms were even equipped with baths anyway.The heating did not work and was only fixed on the Thursday evening when we arrived and queried it on the Monday.The door did not sit properly and the noise level was absolutely ridiculous you could hear people word for word the entire way down the corridor, which also woke us up every morning. Even when the television was on you can hear every conversation. When we raised this with the hotel, they told us if we had concerns about our room comfort the only way they could solve this for us was by a room upgrade at an extra cost.The breakfast was quite poor, offering nice pastries and a range of drinks but the only option for warm food was mini sausages, bread, hard bacon and scrambled eggs. Also only providing 10 tables in the breakfast room.The staff were friendly but did not help us with any issues we had during our stay. When we complained to easyJet they spoke with the hotel who said they were working with us to solve our problems, when in reality we had no further contact from them.

    Noise issues affecting sleep

    The hotel is well located and aesthetically pleasing, with stylish décor throughout the rooms and communal areas. WiFi and TV worked well, which was a plus.Unfortunately, sleep quality was a major issue. The walls were extremely thin — we could clearly hear the neighbouring room’s TV and morning alarms. The water pipes were also very loud at night, and we were often woken by housekeeping noise outside our room.The room itself needs some attention: walls were heavily scuffed, the shower temperature changed on its own several times, and our door didn’t shut flush, taking multiple attempts to lock. The bed wasn’t uncomfortable, but the mattress was overly springy, the duvet very thin, and the pillows too soft (one being an awkward square shape).Staff were not particularly welcoming, though not unfriendly either. Luggage storage is free on check-in day but costs €10 on check-out day — a reasonable fee, but it felt unnecessary for guests who have just stayed.Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it was only okay. Poor sleep really let it down, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again

    Our room was pleasant, like the design was always very warm, shower was hit and miss, communication with the hotel before is quite unpredictable they answered one email and not another which is disappointing and there's hidden charges like it's ten euros to hire an iron, ten euros to store your suitcase, it seems like it depends who you get when you ask these things. Our view was on the inside so the backside of several tall buildings with big air con systems. Was hard to see the sky so we kept the nets closed. I found the corridors very noisy on the 5th floor not sure if that is where the cleaners storage cupboards are but was regularly disturbed by the sounds of bin bags, very loud radios at all times. The trevvi is a 20min walk so pretty easy and some great churches and sights within 10min walk. Not sure if I'd stay here again. It looks nice but lacking in a few places.

    I had an amazing stay at Room Select Via Veneto. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, which made the experience even better. The room was spotless, and housekeeping came every day to make the bed and refresh toiletries, which was really appreciated.The location is perfect — close to everything. There’s a market just 2 minutes away that’s open all hours, and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance.I honestly had nothing to fault and would recommend this hotel to everyone. I’d definitely stay here again.
