    Friendly Staff & Clean Rooms, but Some Drawbacks

    Friendly and helpful staff, and the rooms were always clean and tidy, which made for a pleasant stay.Be aware the hotel is on the 4th and 5th floors of a shared building, which was a bit tricky to find at first. The biggest issue was the outdated lift—if doors aren’t fully closed on other floors, it won’t work, which caused a few problems (including carrying luggage upstairs).The air con is centrally controlled and the room often felt warm and humid. Overall, it felt a bit overpriced for a budget-style experience, but the staff and cleanliness were definitely positives.

    Definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Rome. I went with my partner for 5 days and there isn’t nothing to complain about, room was lovely and we got the balcony I requested for my partner birthday surprise

    Very reasonably priced for a great location. Rooms were basic, but were really clean on arrival and cleaned every day. Really good breakfast too. For the money was great value

    Very last minute trip & due to getting in late I searched for 24 hour receptions. I was very pleased with my choice.Hotel Scott House is very unique. Its in a building that has several other hotels on different floors. Hotel Scott House is on the 4th & 5th floors.My room was small but clean, with a comfy bed & good shower. Was exactly what I wanted.The hotel itself was clean & very sweet. The staff were super friendly & helpful. Breakfast was really great. Stayed here three nights. Really enjoyed my stay.When I was there a decade ago Termini didn't feel particularly safe at night but now its bustling with lots of people around & lots of Police patrolling. The Cafe Capri on the corner opposite is lovely for pizza. Trattoria Cecio is around the corner & lovely.Highly recommended. Great hotel. Great location.
