    A very secure hotel in Rome suited to drivers

    The hotel felt very secure and like a little haven outside of the busy streets of Rome. However, the A/C is almost non-existent and seams to be turned off by staff during the night which is very uncomfortable. We had to go to the front desk almost every night of our stay to ask them to turn the A/C back on and it miraculously started working again.

    Since we rented a car in our general trip plan in Rome, we chose this hotel for the last day because it was close to the airport and centrally located. But I wish we had stayed here for the whole holiday! My wife and I were very pleased.The location of the hotel is great for reaching the city's central quality parking lots without going through the ZTL zones (Parking Via Giulia and Parking Piazza Cavour). We also loved the pizza shop (Casaconsorti) that we went to on the recommendation of the receptionist on the evening we arrived at the hotel. The price of the hotel is much more cost-effective than the rip-off hotels in the center. The general cleanliness, silence and calmness of the hotel are also nice. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to spend much time in the beautiful garden of the hotel since we arrived on the last day.All the staff we encountered at the hotel are attentive and smiling. They do their best to help you. The hotel's breakfast is good. The parking lot is safe and the general atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and calming.Also, if you rented a car from the airport and will refuel your car on your return, there is a quality gas station (Panta Gas Station) very close to the hotel. You can refuel your car without any problems.The hotel is also not too far from Castel Romano by car. After leaving the hotel, it is only 20-25 minutes by car to go to the airport. Thanks to this, we were able to easily go to the airport on the return morning without the fear of missing our flight.In short: If you are planning a trip to Rome with your own car or a rental car, this hotel is in a good location, offers you a good service without tiring you and at a reasonable price. And the traffic between the center of Rome and the hotel is generally calm and peaceful.Thank you for everything!

    Nice Place Outside of Rome

    The place is isolated and not much around it. No restaurants on property or close by. They do serve a nice brekfast though. The rooms are small and if you stay on the second floor there is no elevator so you have to carry the heavy luggage up the steps. We did enjoy our stay there, but is was just a place to stay as there is nothing there to do or anything around it. The staff was very nice and helpful.

    Very nice and quiet hotel. All staff members ( receptioniste, cleaning ladies, the breakfast lady…) were very polite and helpfull with a smile.Special tthanks to receptionist Sylvia.Extensive breakfast for Italian standards.Easily reacheable with public transport.

    Hotel Selva Candida, owned by the Aniballi Family, is a beautiful hotel, that will capture for you the essence of Italy. Maria Rita, Francesco, Silvia, and Prieto at the front desk and the entire family, made our stay comfortable and assisted us even with the language barrier. In addition, Sonia at the breakfast area, is charismatic and always has a smile.The hotel is located in a quiet area, and has beautiful greenery. Parking was spacious and included with the stay.
