Location

    Don’t waste your money on Smy hôtel

    On arrival we where put in a room to the rear of the building. Over looking unfinished partially occupied and shabby buildings/ flats. Moved to a front sea view room which in itself was ok. The hotel however is « pet friendly «  which is fine so long as dogs are not left in rooms alone whining all morning ! This hotel is non smoking alas it stinks of cigarette smoke. The advertised solarium was inaccessible along with the rooftop bar, there is no other bar or such like social facilities. Breakfast hot food is buffet served cold . The whole of the surrounding area other than the marina looks like an area of déprevation . Rome is over and hour away by car, We checked after one night, and would strongly advise you to avoid staying here.

    This place is just awful. The photos on their website must have taken when it was brand new and is now really run down and quite grubby. When we expressed our disappointment we were offered another room that was actually worse. After this point the one member of staff that was available to speak to was obstructive and rude. There was black mould visible in the air conditioning units and the building itself was in dire need of some structural repairs at €140 a night it’s a downright scam.

    The hotel is described as 4 stars, but in reality, it’s just a disgrace. Torn sheets, no service, a cheap hotel – stop deceiving people.     Very nice hotel 15 mins from the airport

    Clean, comfortable hotel close to the airport. Only stayed for one night but extremely helpful night and early morning staff. Arrived late at night and left early in the morning so didn’t have time to explore the area but it seemed that there were plenty of restaurants nearby

    During our stay we noticed the excellent service provided by all their staff.But we would especially like to highlight the exceptional service of their wonderful housekeeping team for their tireless hard work and incredible human qualities, expressed in the fact that they returned to my son and me the baptismal crosses that we forgot in the room after check-out.We would also like to underline the exceptional level of service provided by the pleasant gentleman at the reception with his perfect service-minded approach, always ready to help and advise.Unfortunately, we do not remember their names.But we will definitely come back!
