Excellent hotel in a great location

    rating29 Jan 2026

The hotel was lovely, very clean and super organised with a great shower, comfy beds and a smart tv. It was in an excellent location, and Luca was very kind and helpful, and even upgraded our room when we arrived. If we are back in Rome we will definitely stay again!

Nice place to stay, easy distance to the Vatican.

    rating22 Dec 2025

Very nice bed and breakfast type place. A little difficult to find, but the doorman in the building showed us up to the second floor (first floor button on the elevator). Staff were very nice. Luca spoke English and took care of us, showed us the room and explained the door codes to get in. We were in room 105 and I was a little concerned because of a previous review of this room, but the size of the room is fine. Larger than other rooms we have had in Europe. Small but comfortable. Nice water pressure in the shower. Staff makes up your room everyday.Make sure to put the room codes and Luca and/or Ciro's numbers in your phone so you don't forget or need something. Staff are not always around, although there is a front desk. The wonderful part about the place is the location. It opens up to the street leading up to the Vatican. The street is more like a closed off, broad pedestrian pathway. And it is always busy. It is great to see the people headed to the Vatican, and there are lots of places to get food or Gelato. Because of few cars and no real bars, it is not very noisy, just bustling.Breakfast is at a local Cafe, but it isn't 3 American blocks away, just a short walk. And Luca told us if we didn't make it for breakfast, we could use it for maybe a sandwich in the afternoon. The rooms are not very sound proof, and you can hear people coming and going. We had quiet people staying here though, and didn't hear anything after 10pm. Construction woke us up one morning at about 8am in another part of the building. We didn't hear street noises from our room. The building houses offices too, although we didn't see anyone from them. Luca said one floor is the Japanese embassy and another floor houses nuns.Overall a nice place to stay.

St. Peter's Six by the Vatican

    rating22 May 2025

The hotel is within a very short distance to St Peter's Square. There are many very good restaurants and cafes. The staff, especially Luca and Pia were of great assistance throughout the stay. The room was very comfortable and very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to explore Vatican City and Rome via tours.

Excellent Location - Rooms Could be Quieter.

    rating24 Feb 2025

The location is amazing. You are just a block or so to St. Peter’s. There are multiple restaurants, coffee shops, and cafes nearby. The rooms are clear and large with good decor. The bathroom has one of the smallest showers we have ever experienced. It odd as the bathroom is large and one would expect a more spacious shower. The rooms are located second floor, which isn’t quite clear when arriving. There’s an lift available. We were greeted by Lucias who was accommodating showing us to our room. The codes and key were nice details. However, I would recommend silencing the entry codes to the door as one can easily hear others entering their rooms. The doors to the room are poorly insulated and you can hear most conversations and noises in the hallway. Even with the noisy evening, we were pleasantly surprised how quiet the suites become after 2300 to early morning.

    Safety tip

Great location, basic rooms. Especially for female travellers it's good to know: I stayed on night and then checked into the same room again on the second night (late decision to stay longer). They use codes instead of keys to enter the rooms. They don't change the codes on the doors.
