    Good times at The Strand Hotel

    I really enjoyed my stay, especially thanks to the receptionist who was incredibly attentive and helped me with all my questions. The hotel is very close to the metro station, and the neighborhood felt safe. Overall, my experience was excellent!

    Passing through, stayed for one night. Accomodations were pleasant, the staff was terrific! Not a 4 star stay but the experience was excellent nonetheless. Close to local cafes and bars for food and drink. Cosey room good for a night or two, AC worked and was overall quiet.

    This place is a disaster!!! It is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at!!! The advertisements are deceptive. No breakfast room. No pool as it was filthy. The shower was broken. The lamps were broken. Broken and torn furniture. Definitely NOT a 3 star! Consider yourself warned!!!

    This hotel was horrible, the desk clerk was rude. The place is dirty and the pool looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. I left after a few minutes. They also wanted to charge me a city tax that I had to pay in cash or I would have to leave.

    Had a suite booked for 2 nights, but everything felt bad already when we reached the street the hotel was.The garagefor parking was extremely small.The older guy did not speak english (even tho the website says, the staff is multilingual).The reception was a very small room with bad smell and the guy searched for the keys to the room quite long.He showed us the room, but it seemed he checked it the way if there is already someone in the room or not.The suite room was very small and dark, window didn’t open.The room smelled so bad of smoking (all the curtains and linen smelled), there were burn marks everywhere in the room. Walls were very thin, you could hear everything in other rooms. The toilet seat was broken.The WiFi didn’t work at all.We stayed only half an hour, just to find another hotel in the city centre.As this “hotel” is non-refundable then we lost the money, but at least got the better place to be and enjoy Rome.
