    We loved our stay here! Great room, clean and air con was perfect in heat. Bottle water is free. They accommodated dairy free breakfast requests and made us diary free scrambled eggs which were lovely. Staff were all helpful and polite. I’ve just read another review that said about taxis; we asked reception on first day what was best way and could they book it for us, they told us to use Uber or Freenow was best way of getting taxi. Cannot fault their advice. Could leave bags to collect later on our last day.Next door was an amazing coffee place and across the road is a shopping centre with Roman Ruins in the basement. Very close to Spanish Steps and location was great for our needs. We were a young family with 2 children. I would happily stay here again.     Great location for exploring the historic centre. The beds are comfortable, though the bathrooms feel dated. We had two rooms, and in both the sink plug was stuck and the shower door didn’t stop water leaking onto the floor. Breakfast is fine, but the coffee isn’t up to standard — we ended up going to the café next door each morning for proper coffee and freshly squeezed juice. We asked Reception to book a taxi to take us to the Vatican at a specific time. They didn’t make the booking in advance as requested, and when the time came, they couldn’t get a taxi. Since you can’t hail taxis on the street in Rome and taxi stands are often empty, this caused us to miss our Vatican entry slot (£350 lost). It would have been helpful if Reception had advised us to book ourselves online via Uber. Highly recommend using Uber instead.     Best hotel near Trevi and Spanish steps

    We love this hotel. Super close to where we want to walk to. Room was excellent. Free breakfast has plenty of selection. Staff were super friendly and accomodating. We will definitely come back and stay longer.

    Easy walk to Rome attractions, stores and restaurants

    We’d stay again as it was nice to walk to everything we wanted to see and do. Pros:1) rooms for two were well sized. We were impressed with the space2) excellent proximity to walk to multiple Rome attractions, great restaurants, nice stores (mall is right across the street), pharmacy (for the headache medicine we needed) and tourist stores3) front desk day staff was amazing, however night front desk guy was very rude4) they provided free unlimited bottled water. Cons:1) AC wasn’t cool enough, would have appreciated a fan to move the air2) breakfast was ok, mostly cold food but very small location so you hard to get food if anyone else was there. 3) no restaurant on site except to get four types of pizza, but very close to great sit down and take out restaurants4) shower rain head pressure in two different rooms on different floors was pitiful. The hand held shower water pressure was excellent but no way to use it unless you held it as it was permanently attached at like 3.5 feet high. 5) fridge was useless except to chill drinks. We learned that when we brought back left over pizza one night.
