    Great location. Rooms are tiny, extreaming outdated. Bathroom was the worst, could hardly fit inside. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Free wifi was a plus. Staff were a bit grumpy, Breakfast was extreamly basic

    Ah lads, what a week in Hotel Tirreno. My advice is this is not a 4** hotel but what a great base to see and embrace all that is Roma. If you adjust your mindset and live in the moment you will have a great time. From the slightly strange waitress that I thought was praying, a bathroom you had to try get around a big sink to dry off. Would I book again? I felt so safe here I think I would stay again, breakfast is fairly basic, I had meat and egg sambos for a week .....

    Excellent location—just a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. The rooms are a bit dated and the mattresses not very comfortable, but it’s the best value I could find in Rome. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety, including gluten-free options for my coeliac wife. The area was very quiet. Definitely recommended.

    I am not entirely familiar with the general hotel standards in Rome, but unfortunately my stay at Hotel Tirreno was not a good experience. The room was dusty, with large dust bunnies under the bed and dust inside the ventilation ducts. The shower drain was clogged, and despite notifying the hotel, nothing was done to improve it during my stay.The shower had a restrictive water-saving head, and the room lighting was poor due to dim energy-saving bulbs. The beds were also extremely hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was very basic and uninviting, consisting mainly of bread slices, jam, salami, and bologna, served in a rather dark dining room.The only positives I can highlight are the hotel’s central location and the friendly staff. However, the core services of a hotel—providing a clean, comfortable room and a decent breakfast—were not delivered satisfactorily.

    The rooms very filthy and small. Toilet had an issue the only good thing was AC worked very well. Location were convenient
