    The staff was very kind and helpful, went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The breakfast was always amazing and the coffee was simply amazing. I would highly recommend staying here.

    Rundown and Depressing

    The hotel description and photos are completely misleading. The pictures are heavily edited, but in reality the property is very rundown. There is no lift, and the stairs, corridors, and rooms are covered with old, stained, and smelly carpets. The walls are dirty, and the whole atmosphere of the room feels depressing.We booked a “superior” room, but it was a disgrace. The bathroom was almost unusable: an outdated shower attached to the wall made it impossible to wash my hair, the shower cabin was old and poorly designed, water leaked all over the floor, the sink was tiny, and there was no shelving to put toiletries. The room itself overlooked ugly rooftops, and we were kept awake by noise from the businesses downstairs until 2 a.m., only to be woken again at 5 a.m. by more noise.If I could, I would not have stayed the night. For the price, this hotel is terrible and should be avoided.Positives:Good locationClean towels and sheetsDecent breakfast (good coffee, ham, and cheese)Lovely and helpful staff members: an older lady, the breakfast serving person and most of all a super lovely young man with curly hair at the reception desk who made our last day and the trip to the airport stress-freeNegatives:Everything else.     Excelente service. The hotel staff were very professional, kindly, and already to helpThe guess. Excellent quality of the breakfast and the express coffee simply the best. Highly recommended. Excellent location, with many restaurants and store to exploring. Really was a pleasure experiencing with the family.

    Our stay in Rome was so enjoyable and a large part of that was the incredible hospitality and the warm welcome and excellent customer service from all the staff at Hotel Trastevere!! What a well run hotel by people who are genuinely warm, kind and friendly!! We traveled a long way from New Zealand/Australia and the welcome from the staff was similar to relative you haven’t seen for a while!! The rooms were very clean, the location was in the centre and close to all the main attractions and public transport. The area is very quiet and it is a bonus that Trastevere is spoilt for choice when it comes to dining! The staff were very attentive to our requests !!Superb service!!

    Great hotel with superb 5 star facilities and a lively decor with rooms being clean and spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and I advise at least one stay here for sure. You can easily locate this hotel from all transport routes with ease.
