    Rome hotelWe stayed here for one night in late May and we were disappointed. We arrived not long after midday on May 24 after a long flight and we were very sorry to have interrupted the two young ladies on the front desk who apparently had many things to do except paying us some attention. They were looking at the out the door or computer screens and talking to each other so seemed to have other priorities. So eventually we were never told the Wi-Fi password. We weren’t shown any map or given any information on the local area. We weren’t told of the eating arrangements at the hotel unless we asked. We were told our room wasn’t ready and that we could use the rooftop terrace. And we would be contacted when the room was ready and our bags would be put in the room. We went down at 2 pm which is the official check-in time and we were told our room was ready. (No bother letting us know) and that bags would follow shortly. They didn’t. And we waited well over 30 minutes. It’s just poor service and you’ll find it often in Rome. We compare this to the hotel where we stayed a few weeks ago (Hotel Viminale) and it’s chalk and cheese.Credit go Elena in the bar/restaurant. She was magnificent. Perhaps she should be on the front desk!. The room was OK and the location is very good but that’s about it. We won’t be coming back.Beatriz. Melania. Elena

    What you are looking for in a Hotel !

    I have stayed at the UNA Trastevere Esperienze on a previous trip. Returning to Rome after a 3 year absence I once again booked the UNA Trastevere.This hotel has everything you are looking for in a hotel. Location in the vibrant Trastevere area with restaurants, vibrant street scene for shopping and browsing, with simple and easy transportation to central Rome.What is truly impressive is the friendly professional staff. The staff makes your stay comfortable without being intrusive.The rooms are welcoming and afford a very relaxing upscale feel.The hotel offers several venues to enjoy delicious meals -- the outdoor rooftop restaurant or the more intimate ground floor restaurant.Do yourself a favor -- the UNA Trastevere is what you are looking for in a hotel !

    Stylish quiet hotel

    Booked this hotel after reading lots of positive reviews on various forums. It did not disappoint.It is in a quiet area of Trastavere but still close to lots of restaurants.The hotel is stylish and laid back. The staff were always available but unobtrusive.We were on bed and breakfast and breakfast was open from 7 -11 with plenty of choice. On our final day it was served in the rooftop restaurant which was lovely. We ate in the restaurant on our first night. The service was good and our pasta dishes were tasty.Our room was clean and quiet even though we were next to the lift.It is quite a long walk to the main attractions but we knew before we went and didn't mind that to have the peace and quiet.Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Rome Francesca Fiumanò, Owner at Trastevere Roma UNA I Esperienze, responded to this review Dear GillyMegs247,Sharing a review like yours with our team is both, gratifying and motivating.     Stayed for 5 nights at this Hotel during a long weekend to Rome and we loved it! For us staying in an area that is a mix of residential is important and Travestere is a great location for this with the hotel at the heart of this area. It’s a lovely fun neighbourhood with an amazing selection of restaurants and bars, coffee shops and independent stores and we loved it.The hotel is stunning and we got an upgrade to the 6th floor (quieter than the lower floors) to a beautiful suite style room. Calm neutral decor and so clean with all the amenities you need. Very comfortable bed too. Breakfast was included in our rate and was great with a wide selection of choices. No gym is the only thing. Otherwise a fantastic hotel in a great location within a 30 mins walk from all the main spots, Colosseum, central shops, Spanish steps etc and a 15mim taxi to the Vatican but you could walk there too if you wanted to. Would recommend this hotel and would return.     Got robbed here, Managment doesn’t care and takes 1 week to reply. Besides that the room is very old and tiny.Never agai

    Worst Experience!Be careful , the Hotelpersonal robbed me, and I am not the only one reviewing this!Paid over 2.000€ for 5 nights and got robbed.My request got answered 6 Days later!!!!To start with, Rome is expensive. However, we paid €400 per night, and the room was so small that we couldn’t even open our luggage properly.The main reason I would never stay at this hotel again is that I was robbed there. And I am not the only guest who has reported this — check the other reviews.At check-out, I forgot my phone (which I use only for business) in the bathroom. I know this for a fact because I never take that phone with me when I am on vacation. I contacted the hotel four hours after check-out.When we had already switched hotels and I realized I hadn’t packed my phone, it was already turned off. The last known location was the hotel, of course.There is no way the cleaning staff did not find the phone on the bathroom sink, as the room was deep-cleaned.I called and sent emails immediately , but the replies made it very clear that they did not care. Only after escalating the issue to a “manager” on the 25.10.2025 did I receive more serious responses, 6 DAYS later! On the 31.10.2025 — yet the phone was still “not found.”Maybe consider hiring honest cleaning staff, or address whoever is stealing from guests at your hotel.I have stayed in more than 50 hotels worldwide, and whenever I forgot something in a room, the hotel would usually contact me themselves. Here, they simply kept it.The worst part was not only losing the phone, but the fact that all my business contacts were unable to reach me while I was on holiday.Please choose well-managed and honest hotels instead.
