This hotel, which is steeped in tradition, is located in the historic centre of the city near the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi fountain, and the tourist centre.     This hotel smelt of a sewer , the room was dirty and Had fixtures coming off the wall. Did not use the shower dew to in the exposed electrical cable from the lights fittings in the bathroom and room was not as pictured. No facilities to charge phones or make tea of coffees , We asked if we can get some hot water then man can out the what? I can only describe as warm tap water.

    Okay this hotel is not great wouldn’t say 3* However for the price and how close you are to everything makes it worth while.We had problem with heating told staff they said they will fix it and still cold The breakfast not worth it either but like I said due to price and how close you are I would come back again

    The hotel was overall, decent. The location was nice, only a ten minute walk from the main train/bus station. I can't complain about the quality of the rooms, it was clean. I did struggle with the lock on the door, I was unsure if it was locked during the night which as a solo female traveler was a tad uncomfortable. The mattress was firmer than expected. The room was overall decent and usable just rather underwhelming. The internet however was shocking. I had no connection at all unless I went to the bathroom in my room. I had better connection on the underground subway beneath the city than I had in my hotel room. I do also wish we had a do not disturb sign or something provided cause it was a bit anxious unsure if the housekeeper would barge in because I slept in one day. The breakfast wasn't worth it in my opinion. The dining area being in the main lobby was rather jarring. And the breakfast consisted mostly of sweet pastries, coffee and bread. There wasn't much variety especially healthier ones. The gentleman at the desk was lovely however. Overall, decent for the price, very much so a place you'd only really sleep in.

    Unfortunately, our stay at this facility was very unpleasant and fell far short of our expectations. The hotel failed in basic aspects that every accommodation provider should guarantee.Upon arrival, we found that the hot water was not working, which made it impossible to take a comfortable shower. Even after notifying the staff, this situation was not resolved in any way.The beds were in poor condition – the mattresses did not fit on the bed frames and we fell out of them several times during the night, which was not only uncomfortable but also dangerous. Sleep was practically impossible.Added to this was the constant noise from the street, as the rooms were very poorly soundproofed. Rest during the night was significantly disturbed.However, the most serious problem was the malfunctioning door lock. It was not possible to lock the room, which completely disrupted our sense of security and actual safety. In addition, the hotel staff entered the room without knocking and without any explanation. We consider this invasion of privacy unacceptable.As for breakfast, although the hotel stated that it was included in the price of accommodation, the reality was disappointing. Breakfast consisted of only one croissant per person. No hot food (such as eggs or ham) was offered, nor were there any fruit, vegetables, or alternatives for guests with dietary restrictions. It was undignified and inadequate.Based on this experience, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

    Great location , and staff , poor state of bathroom didn’t spoil the holiday , but a bit more care and cleanliness would have helped. Shower cubicle was a disgrace and the picture on the website not accurate . Plus side , was quiet mid you it was feb not June or July
