  Don’t stay here- over priced low quality hotel

  We checked into our first-floor room late at night to find it cramped, dingy, and smelling of damp. We accepted it as a place to sleep, but sleep became impossible at 6:00 AM.Room 50,along with rooms 40 and 60, is situated directly adjacent to the main kitchen. The noise was relentless: clanging dishes, silverware being sorted piece by piece into metal bins, and the roar of a commercial kitchen starting its day. It is clear this hotel prioritizes squeezing every possible Euro out of its floor plan over basic guest comfort.The "hospitality" on display was insulting. For €289, the front desk’s only solutions were a free breakfast (in the very kitchen that woke us up) and a late checkout to "rest" in the same noisy room. They refused any form of refund.This is predatory management. Do not stay here on principle. If you must, avoid the "galley" rooms at all costs, or prepare to be awake before sunrise!   Charming hotel, great staff, perfect location.

  We stayed at Hotel Villa Glori last month. We loved everything. Fabulous staff always friendly and helpful. Receptionist available 24/7. Perfect location. A nice quiet area with shops and local bars nearby. Great for being a little away from the busy city but close enough to get to the centre and all attractions we were interested. Cosy very clean room, spacious bathroom and comfy bed. Delicious breakfasts with a plenty of choices from 7am to 10am. This charming hotel met all our expectations for service and amenities.Excelent stay. Would definitely stay here again.   Nice little break in Rome

  Staff very friendly and helpful particularly when asking about travel. Breakfast was very good, huge choice and nice staff. Room not huge but big enough for us and our hand luggage. Bathroom clean and roomy. Could not adjust shower which was very high and at a funny angle but a minor niggle. I would have liked to be a bit closer to the centre of Rome but enough choice of places to eat fir a short stay and a couple of nice shops.   Very “basic” room, not the standard Double that we booked!

  We booked Standard Doubles for single use, we were given ‘basic rooms’. When I complained the Lady behind reception showed me a single room to prove a point, it was more basic than our rooms and said that the rooms we had were Doubles for single use. I pointed out that they were not what we booked and paid extra for with Jet2. She said she would try and sort out a ‘free upgrade’ and then nothing happened. We booked our trip in December 2024. The hotel is clean, in a residential area away from the busier tourist neighbourhoods. I am not happy about the way we were treated, and on that basis I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. You should be given the room you booked and paid for.   A gem of a budget hotel located within walking distance of Piazza Del Popolo. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the rooms are clean and basic. Breakfast is self service with coffee and tea on tap. Local trams and buses pass every 30 minutes which is ideal for getting into the city quickly. Hotel Villa Glori is situated in a quiet area of Rome which boasts many local cafes, bars and restaurant’s.
