    Good stay

    rating21 Feb 2026

We stayed at this property during carnival bridge. It has good parking inside, breakfast is varied and plentiful, the rooms un would need to be modernized but are very clean. The area is convenient to transportation. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We will definitely come back in case we are in the Rome area. Not worth it. Unwelcoming nuns. Freezing cold room in need of renovation

    rating13 Dec 2024

Both rooms I stayed in were freezing cold with stained walls. Toilet seat was broken & next to the wall with barely no leg room to sit (see photo attached). The nuns at reception were very unwelcoming/unfriendly.When I asked why there was no heating in the room the nun said "because you booked a room with no air con". I then replied their room adverts are misleading as no air con means no cold air. They only turn heating on from 5- 7 am & a very few hours in the evening so room gets extremely cold in December. They refused my request to check out late even though there were barely no customers in the property at the time. The nun refused to accept my 2 & 5 cent coins to pay for a coffee saying cent coins are not accepted in Italy which is a lie.

hotel was average. We arrived for 1pm to be told there was no rooms available yet even though the advertised check in was 1pm. The hotel is not located near rome city, so expect to get at least 2 buses to get into the city with a travel time of up to an hour. when we got into the room, it was ok, sheets clean, towels clean, bathroom a bit mouldly. Hair dryer is nothing to rave about, like a hand dryer in a public restroom. The sisters could speak little english so we didnt really interact with them much. seemed nice enogh, little disorganised when we arrived but other than that no complaints. its a good place if youre willing to travel into the city and wont spend much time here

    Revisiting!

My second visit this time with my new wife of 10 weeks. Welcoming and comfortable. No frills but sublimely calm atmosphere. Manager top notch could not do enough for us. My wife and I appreciated the fact that this is a Villa Religiosa with a beautiful chapel.

Nice and quiet place to stay in Rome

    rating26 Sept 2015

Very nice room, comfortable beds and clean bathroom. The balcony was nice, I suggest to add some chairs to sit there in the evenings and enjoy the view.It is 20 minute walk to metro station Cornelia (line A) or around 5 -15 minutes (depends on traffic) by buses 246, 247 (included in the ticket for metro). The staff (Juan) was very nice, helpful and full of ideas about things to visit and do in Rome. The only downside is the curfew (closed from 23:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.), it didn't bother us that much though and there are only twin rooms, which was a little strange for us, since we were on our honeymoon. Wi-fi was working but it was a bit slow. The air condition was nice and the area felt safe.
