    To be desired !!

    rating06 Feb 2026

Hotel very basic, but thought thats fine for three stars its just somewhere to lay your head after being out all day site seeing.Well....first night couldn't sleep couple next door were "engaging with each other" thought it was dogs humping at first 🤣Second night was kids on the same floor ..seemed to be a school trip.Running up and down the corridor knocking on doors.Third night same again with kids...then to be woken up at 8am in the morning with work being done in a room. The banging was extreme, walls are so paper thin you can hear the people next door open wind !!! So just be mindful of that ...cause the couple next door didnt seem to know that.Breakfast...well was ok ...ham cheese tiny croissants...pastries ..cereal toast.Coffee machine and "fresh juice " out of the machine.Don't expect the Ritz ..room was really basic couldn't swing a cat in there. But again was somewhere to " sleep"Shower head kept falling down ...all cracks in the wall and ceiling ...This was all reported ...but not sure if its a language barrier issue but nowt done. But what could be done ...no other room to move to as all seem the same.Breakfast well that is highlighted in all other reviews...but needed to judge for myself.Benefit was near the tram and rail station Francesco Palermo, Direttore generale at Hotel Villa Rosa, responded to this review Good morning and thanks a lot for your review full of details !I inform you that for any prblem there is the reception open for 24 hours, so if the neighbors are noisy or if the are dogs noisy you can call the reception. Then i inform you that we are renovating room, public areas and bathrooms.Best regardsHotel ManagerFrancesco Palermo

lost in translation and terrible service

This is going to be a long one so grab your popcorn 🍿 pablo(you know who you are)!!! Staff could speak 🗣️ barely any English and didnt know what a dust pan and brush 🧹 was which exemplifies the lack of cleanliness, hygiene 🪥 and knowledge🧠🧐📚 This is severely unhelpful and rude as in the 21st century it is not acceptable and vital for employees to be aware of cultures and customer's standards. There was not a variety of breakfast options, solely because the only option was pure sugar, suggesting a controlling staff, segregating us from the outside world who are fully exposed to all food groups. furthermore i am diabetic so you're forcing me to choose between high blood sugar or starvation which both lead to death so now I understand the morals of this hotel.☠️⚰️🤢🤕🕯️🏥🧑‍⚕️🥺🍬additionally, there was substantial seating 🪑🦽🦼, forcing us to have to share (i'll put a picture 🌁🤳📸🎥🎞️of that underneath.) 👇🏻⬇️⤵️ I am dissapointed. the last problem which is definately not the smallest 🤏, is the size of the room which was severely substantial. before going i saw a review suggesting the shower was tiny but i didn't beleive it. oh i wish i did because it was so small i couldn't wash my hair 👱‍♀️🎀comfortably without bumping my elbows . are you encouraging discomfort and uncommon weight expectations? additionally the bed 🛌 was so small my feet 🦶🏼 were basically falling off the edge. I assure you i have let know all my friends 👯and family🧑‍🧑‍🧒 and even strangers🕺 of the disaster and atrocities your hotel is providing. AND THEY KNOW. EVERYONE KNOWS. 3 star??? ⭐ More like take away 2!! ⭐ciao hotel.. more like ciao problems!!👋🏼Yours sincerely, someone who won't be coming back for the rest of my life (which is evidently shortened by the previously expressed breakfast 🍳 ☕️🥚🧇🥣options) Francesco Palermo, Direttore generale at Hotel Villa Rosa, responded to this review Good morning, your feedback is surreal....are you sure that you had staied in the Villa Rosa Hotel in Rome ? Or in an other hotel?Because your written is not real .....

    2 star at a push!!!

    rating19 Nov 2025

Only good thing about this hotel was it was next to the train station. We have been in multiple 3 stars and we book these because we dont plan on being in the room but exploring the sites. However, the air-conditioning didn't work, our room looked over a walk way that would give people access to our room if the window was open so had to keep that closed. The room was dated the light fitting was hanging out of the ceiling the shelf in the bathroom was so slanted nothing stayed on it and the shower had to be running a good 5mins before we wanted one before it would get hot. The breakfast was poor we went once and never went again, I would recommend the cafe infront of the train station as it is cheap and really nice. €1.50 for a croissant and coffee. We wouldn't stop here again tbh. Francesco Palermo, Direttore generale at Hotel Villa Rosa, responded to this review Good morning and thank you for your review. I'm sorry you had a negative experience, but if you weren't happy with the room, you could have reported it to reception and we would have arranged a free room change. We found no signs of mold, just dampness from condensation. The breakfast is top-notch in both quantity and quality, and you can read hundreds of excellent reviews on this and other sites. Best regards, Director Francesco Palermo

    Good stay

    rating18 Nov 2025

We had a great time at this hotel. The location was perfect for us, a short walk from the train station with a bus stop 3 minutes away which can take you into the middle of Rome in about 20 minutes. If you don’t want to use public transport and are looking to see the touristy spots then i’d stay somewhere closer to the middle of Rome. The corridors in the hotel did look quite run down with cracks and damage to the walls however our room was nice and very clean and room service comes to clean every day. We really enjoyed the breakfast there was a selection of pastries, toast, spreads, yogurt, ham, cheese etc. and the staff were really nice. The wifi wasn’t great at times but we were on the third floor and you can hear through the walls slightly so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Overall I really enjoyed the stay and would stay here again as a cheaper option for accommodation. Francesco Palermo, Direttore generale at Hotel Villa Rosa, responded to this review Good morning and thanks a lot for yiur excellent review full of details.Me and the staff are very happy that the stay was good and i hope to see you again in the Villa Rosa Hotel!Warm regards from RomeHotel ManagerFrancesco Palermo

Being robbed in front of hotel reception!

    rating11 Oct 2025

An experience as bad as possible. I have been pickpocketed within the hotel, in front of the reception, on a Sunday afternoon by a woman who looked like a client. The assistance and the manners received by the hotel personnel has been of very poor quality.Be aware, I feel like it may happen again there, due to lack of adequate surveillance. Francesco Palermo, Direttore generale at Hotel Villa Rosa, responded to this review Good morning, i am sorry but this is not true.In hotel there are not pickpockets and the staff had helped you with our best assistance!
