    Ok hotel close to train station

    We chose this hotel because of its convenient location to the train station since we could be pulling our bags. I was glad I had read the reviews so I knew the hotel is shared with another hotel and the building is not clearly marked, or it would have been hard to find. I’m also glad we made it there before 5:00 or there would not have been anyone at the desk and we would have had to let ourselves in with a code. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom is too small and separated with a curtain. Some black areas around the floor tile that appear to be mold. The room was cleaned every day while we were out. Breakfast was basic and the same every day. Only one employee serving coffee and manning the front desk so sometimes we waiting quite awhile for our coffee. There was some traffic noise below but not loud enough to disturb sleep until early morning. We walked most days but when we did need a cab, the front desk called for us and he showed up in minutes. Would most likely stay someplace different and closer to attractions on our next visit

    Due to illness, we had to cancel the trip at very short notice on the day of arrival. We wanted to rebook for a new date in November after we had already successfully postponed the flights. However, the hotel refused to make a rebooking, even though we would have accepted a rebooking fee. Now we have incurred damages of several hundred euros, and the hotel has our money. Thanks for nothing!

    Gorgeous hotel. Outstanding and kind staff. Best location in Rome as it is in the very historic area of Monti. Just beautiful. Highly recommend.

    The hotel was lovely clean and easy to access. The location was close to the train station and walking distance to restaurants and excursions. The AC was working great & room was very pretty with huge tube in the middle of the room very nice after a long days walking touring Rome.

    Really charming hotel in a building with another hotel and within walking distance to tourist spots. Cafe next door does amazing home made cakes. Room spotlessly clean although the bathroom needs some attention due to mould in the floor corners/wood rotting. Fantastic view! With shuttered windows. Breakfast basic but fine, cappuccino was great! You will need a code to get into the hotel if arriving outside of their reception hours as not 24hr so recommend contacting them to get it before arriving. Hotel on 3rd floor and The old style lift added to the charm. Helpful staff who allowed us to leave luggage with them on our last day for some final sightseeing
