Location

The hotel is located on top of the hills of Cava de' Tirreni in the heart of a typical and charismatic mediaeval hamlet. The strategic location allows guests to get into the history of Pompeii and Herculaneum, to admire the tradition of ceramics from Vietri, to relax in the sun on the Amalfi beaches or to discover the nature of the Monti Lattari mountains with its park and trails, while enjoying all the tranquillity and relaxation of a single hotel.

Facility

The resort was built in 1821. The complex has 2 lifts and features 44 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well. Guests of the resort are welcome to relax in the garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     A friendly comfortable hotel set in beautiful peaceful surroundings

    This is a family-run comfortable hotel set in a small quaint village in the hills. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean and refreshed daily and the pool a real plus. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent.The hotel is ideally situated for visits to the Archeological Park of Pompeii and Herculaneum. All in all I couldn’t fault the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area .

    We spent a week here while exploring the area with a group interested in archaeology. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean and well cared for during our stay. The meals in the restaurant were excellent, with plenty of choice at breakfast. Fish dishes, all well presented, figured a lot in the evening meals.

    I don’t usually write reviews but the staff at this hotel are so welcoming and helpful that I must.The hotel itself is a lovely building in a very quiet and charming village nestled in steep, wooded mountains. The gardens are serene and set on several levels. My room had the biggest private terrace I have come across. With extensive views across the valley to distant mountain ranges.A great place for a peaceful, relaxing stay.     we were there for just one day andnight. It is hard to describe how beautiful this historic hotel is. The staff are outstanding, polite, happy, friendly and extremely well trained and professional. We were upgraded making our anniversary a very special occasion. The views, gardens, peacefulness is in abundance. Every detail has been thought of. Gorgeous pool. Breakfast was wonderful. Dinner was superb. Great wine list. We didnt want to leave but were flying home. We had stayed in another 4 star and there was no comparison. HotelScapolatiello soothes the soul and wesimply cannot wait to return.     Absolutely love this hotel, the views, the unique and quirky style. The rooms were amazing with most spectacular mountain and valley views. The staff couldn't do enough and were very friendly. The food is lovely too. A perfect place to unwind and relax. The small town of Corpo di Cava is beautiful with tiny cobbled streets and plenty of hills. We loved walks and runs in the nearby forest . The Abbey is worth a visit too. We didn't have a car, but we were happy to walk down to Cava de Tirreni (which has more restaurant options) and bus back up. The Amalfi coast is about 20mins drive. Makes it a nice escape from the hustle and bustle.
