  You always go back to where you felt good

  We stayed here eight years ago, we were engaged and now we have a two-year-old. I confirm what I said at the time, it is an excellent point of support x visit the Cilento.Si you have all comforts, even x children who can play in the garden and what about, then, contact with nature that surrounds the structure: relaxing and suggestive also the view from which you can see the sea. It is located in a valley that can be reached through curves and climbs that are not steep indeed familiarize us and become facilissime.Si must use the car x go to the sea but there are various and valid beaches that you can choose (agnone beach, San Nicola al mare, houses of the count) and are not far away, the farthest a quarter of an hour. Family-run liqueurs are also produced that can be purchased as souvenirs to give away . A thanks in this regard to Gianluca and Teresa who made us taste and recommended liqueurs and Silvia and Rita for the Welcoming and company in the structure and a thanks also to Mr. Remo who collected and gave figs from the plant in the garden. As customers we could also receive discounts on the menus of some restaurants.   Holiday at the top

  We just returned from a holiday in Cilento, we stayed at That' Amore Country House, what to say. Lovely place, clean in an oasis of peace, family friendly. I thank Silvia and her family for their hospitality and kindness. A beautiful week, here you feel at home. We will be back soon.   We really enjoyed our stay in This really Nice place. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming . You felt very welcome. The house is up on a Hill about 1km from the ocean. When we where here there almost no tourists and the People in the village really friendly. Also this area is Much cheaper than other places we have been in Italy. Highly recommend this for a relaxing holiday.

  Hidden Italy, a gem!

  Had a great stay here for 10 days in September, and just writing a review now! The weather was still nice enough to spend the day on the beach. The best beach is only 3 minutes drive away called Acciaroli! And what a beach!! In the summer time, they have beach-bars and u can rent the sun-loungers. (But if u move away from the bars the beach is free..as it should be!!) The village of Agnone is small, but there are some great places to eat and a nice bar run by local man Gianfranco. He is a typical Italian and looks a bit like Dean Martin! The apartment I stayed in was clean, modern and super-comfortable. Every nite the owner offered me a Limoncello, which was a nice touch! The owner's son is friendly too and speaks quite good English. The place was so relaxing I decided to totally unwind for a week, and visit the more tourist-friendly town of Santa Maria di Castellabate which has been used as the back-drop to many films. You can go for a lovely stroll through the town, and try some of the delicious local icecream. The pizzas in the area of Cilento are nearly all made from Buffalo Mozarella which is unique to this part of Italy. If u want a romantic meal, try the Restaurant Belvedere up in the old historical hill-town of Castellabate. Divine.You really need rental car to stay here and to get around. Though if you are feeling adventurous you can rent the bikes that they have for a small fee.You can take it easy like I did and avoid the hustle-and-bustle of the tourist hotspots & enjoy the good.weather & the food.! or you could use it as a base to visit Sorrento, Capri, the Amalfi Coast & even Pompeii, Herculaneum etc..All in all, a great holiday. A perfect way to recharge your batteries. By the way, the nearby Greek Temples of Paestum and the accompanying museumare a must-see. They are the best preserved Greek temples outside Greece, as they were at one point totally covered and where excavated intact as you see them today! Amazing

  nice and quiet

  On the backside of Agnone, few hundred meters of a bumpy road. Very quiet in the middle of beautiful olive fields. Apartments are fine although a bit old fashion furnished. Nothing missing though. Wifi free and (bonus) the family is nice and friendly, plenty of suggestions on what to do. A good base for visiting Cilento coast and the beautiful backcountry.
