I stayed at this hotel at the start of september and i have mixed feelings about it. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the amafi coast , the staff are really lovely and helpful and we got a free room upgrade. However there was a 18th birthday party there when we stayed which we were not aware of when we booked or even where told about by and of the staff when we checked in , on this day we tried to go in the pool and where told we weren’t aloud due to the event. Which is crazy considering we weren’t told in advance and additionally the pool had been filthy the whole time we had been there. We also had ants in our room on the last day of our holiday. This place could use a clean and a revamp.

Check in / had to wait an hour before it to be ready. Finally got in room and not the room that I had selected on their website. The room on the site looked very lovely - what I got was a bed, dresser and chair - comforter just thrown over mattress - sterile looking. Nothing at checkin to give you any info about the hotel. Have no idea password for WiFi. No info in room /like how to reach front desk so I can tell them that the room has only a half roll of tissue and only one bath towel and no hand towels. A sign on the wall says you have to make a reservation if you want breakfast delivered, but no number to call. I will be skipping that anyway. Cannot imagine that would be good. Pool not cleaned but maybe not open yet, but you would think it would be clean so people just could go sit there to read - but not very inviting.Very disappointing My husband and I have traveling the Amalfi coast for the last 18 days and this is our 5th stop. This is his birthday stop and do sad that I selected this!!

fantastic holiday with my family. we had a reunion from Switzerland and I must say that it is an enchanting place with one of the most beautiful views ever seen before. in the morning we went to the centre of Salerno on foot in two minutes, in the afternoon we were in the pool until sunset with an aperitif in the garden. it is a magical place that we will carry in our hearts because we discovered the true flavour of southern Italy. Do not bother to book this hotel out of season. Very unfriendly man at desk. Had to ask for a kettle and tea coffee facilities.Very expensive and cold if purchased downstairs. On our second day (my husbands birthday) we had no water for shower or kettle water. Local authorities had cut water supply and hotel did not do anything to help. Garden had no lighting and very dark after walk from many steps. Room was freezing and not freshened up since end of summer. We moved on due to the water situation and got charged the full amount (pre-paid with bookings .com, so be aware).
