    Well maintained, centrally located small hotel

    We stayed a week in this tiny hotel. It is very conveniently located within walking distance of everything in downtown Catania. The rooms were very well taken care of.I particularly liked the central air conditioning (better than a window mounted loud unit). This helped maintain a very comfortable temperature to beat the extremely hot Catania summer. Combined with the ability to completely darken the room this made it possible to rest anytime during the day or night.The breakfast provided was just okay with capuchino coffee as well as pastries and yogurt. My sister needed gluten free food and they provided some gluten free bread and pastries as well as lactose free milk and yogurt. We bought fruit at the huge outdoor market and supplemented the breakfast with delicious fresh fruit.

    Modern small hotel in the centre

    Modern hotel in a convenient and central location, served by a stop of the airport shuttle bus. It is small (fully transparent name: though, why do rooms have a 3-digit number if there are only 8 ?) and sort of minimalistic, but clean, functional and quiet. Some easy improvements could make a big difference, such as a little tray in the shower (I had to keep the soap on the floor) and a towel hook near the wash basin (I had to use the bidet to hold the hand towel). There is a tiny terrace for the ground floor rooms, while upstairs there are more pleasant little balconies for each room. There is a little enclosed area available for car parking, not sure if available to guests. The staff was cordial and helpful. I found the price commensurate with its characteristics. I would go back, but ensure I have a room upstairs.

    I visited the place during business trip.The rooms do not have enough space and the hotel has the basic facilities. There is not a lobby or breakfast area and the traffic starts early in the morning. It can not be a 4**** hotel Giuseppe Finocchiaro, Albergatore at 8 Room Hotel, responded to this review Ci dispiace che abbia avuto questa brutta impressione del nostro piccolo hotel. Abbiamo 8 camere e gli spazi sono in linea con la grandezza dello stabile, una struttura moderna, in centro città. I servizi sono in linea con la sua specificità: un piccolo albergo business.     Modern small city hotel

    A nice and modern style city hotel, which we selected due to location (walking distance to city center), private parking possibility and the fact they could accommodate late reception - we were arriving around midnight. Rooms are modern style and clean with a small balcony. The breakfast was ok, maybe a bit small selection of dishes, but on the other hand they were serving freshly squeezed orange juice which they made in front of us.     Great location, new & clean & parking

    Stayed at 8 rooms for one night - perfect location to discover the town. Room was spacious, very clean and new. Great bonus was that we could reserve one of the three on-site parking spaces.
