  As previously noted the location is not ideal as there is no thing around but lush gardens, great food, and extremely accommodating stuff overcompensate for this. Annoying but easily fixable things to short out:1. Not a clock in sight, it would be easy to have a couple one at the reception or the pool.2. Maps and Shuttle bus to Chefalu should be advertised on arrival rather being left to figure out.3. Shops are not accommodating to UK customers, we lost our UK to European adaptor and no supermarket or other shop had one for sale.4. Food catering to vegetarians, fish and salads absolutely loved it.5. Relaxed atmosphere, lush gardens, beautiful pool.All in all 4 out of 5 only because of lication.Will I come again?   Beautiful place to enjoy with family . The staff are amazing, working hard to please everyone . Food is amazing, every day something different, drinks from the bar the 👌, thanks to the team 🤩. We enjoyed in the day water activities, in the evening music with David and his team . On Friday we enjoyed the music with Sarah and Emilio .   Fantastic holiday in Sicily at Acacia Resort

  Beautifully appointed hotel inside and grounds. Pool and Seaview excellent, surrounded by mountains and nature, birdsong. Food was excellent and an amazing range and plenty of it and wine on tap. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Simone was on hand to arrange excursions and really went out of his way to ensure we got to all the places we wanted to see.   The hotel and garden/pool area are lovely. The food is excellent with a great selection of salads, veg, fish, desserts. Didn't see much meat but as a vegetarian I didn't look closely.Some things let the hotel down: first the buffet is a right scrum - long queues; plates, cups, water/wine jugs kept running out; the coffee machine was constantly playing up. The kitchen staff did their best but the system was overwhelmed. They'd do better to introduce a two sittings set up or start breakfast and dinner especially, earlier. The other thing to let the hotel down was the attitude of some staff especially one girl behind the bar. If you go all- inclusive by the way you will not get branded spirits/cocktails (very limited). For example I wanted Bailey's but had to pay extra (we were all inc).The hotel is also really poor at communicating - no hotel general information in the rooms (which are lovely), notice about activities just a small board on reception. A planned interruption to the water supply one day was not announced except a nondescript notice in the lift so we were taken by surprise and water was off for hours.Overall we enjoyed our early May week but dread to think what the catering situation will be like in high season !The hotel is isolated but a short taxi ride to the local train station can be booked by reception. From the station you can access several towns and cities. Advise using Trainline to book tickets to avoid faffing around validating tix before getting on the train. Trains pretty regular to Palermo and in the opposite direction to Cefalu and beyond.   Hotel is ok but seriously lacking in basic facilities..no kettles in room or access to coffee machines, and some serious disability awareness training is needed by the staff..there is no flexibility from staff regarding any special needs whatsoever....not even prepared to help someone on crutches carry drinking water back to their room.Location dreadful...nothing nearby so can't buy snacks, etc.Not recommended unless you have a car.
