    Lovely unique hotel. Fantastic location as a base to visit the main sites in Palermo with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Each of the rooms are decorated by different artist and the communal areas also exhibit artwork. It is an interesting collection of unique and tasteful artwork. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean.There was live music in the bar opposite on the Saturday night, the music was very good and we enjoyed the free show sitting on the balcony. The hotel even supplied free earbuds for those who may not have enjoyed the music. There are lots of little thoughtful extras provided.     Room was really big and clean, there is also balcony which is really nice. Service is great and helpful with reception desk. Breakfast was really amazing, all Sicilian specialties. Breakfast is not self service, they serve you breakfast and explain it to you and you get really big choice of sweets, pastries, hot drinks, juices, fruits, local almond milk and even different choice every day. Location is great, 10 min walk from the strict center and surrounded with shops, restaurants and caffes.     Afea is very clean, modern and quirky with interesting modern art all over! The bathrooms and showers are excellent. We were very glad of the air conditioning as Palermo was extremely hot!People on reception were very friendly and helpful, and organised bus tickets for a visit to the beach at Mondello.     Centrally located, Afea Art is decorated quirkily without being Over the Top. The rooms are very comfortable; reception is excellent and everything is scrupulously clean. Very easy to wander on foot into the heart of Palermo and there are some great little restaurants nearby - in fact the one just outside is really good.     We booked this BnB for a group of American students. The kids say that had the best breakfast of their life. I totally agree. The rooms are amazing too: each one is an art project, and one of them was decorated by Diamond, a famous Italian street artist.
