    Very Comfortable and Posh indeed!

    This hotel was a real surprise to us. It had the nicest mattress and pillow set we've slept on in all of Sicily or Italy for that matter. It was clean and the the rooms were a nice size as was the bathroom and shower. The Shower had nice water pressure. Very, very comfortable. The spa was also an excellent experience . We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and the magic hands of Stella!     Romantic getaway

    We came for an anniversary night away and we loved it. The couples massage by Giusy and Stella was beautiful (I loved the heated bed and sheet - though my boyfriend found it a bit too hot), and the atmosphere and decor of both the spa and the massage room was very serene. There was prepared fruit and biscuits, and a selection of drinks in the spa as well. The size of the room was great, with a little balcony, a kitchenette, a living room area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The sofa was comfortable, there was a TV in both the living room and the bedroom - and they had YouTube, netflix etc on them. However there was only one hook in the whole place, in the bathroom. Not the most convenient. Our biggest complaint was that the bathroom smelled horrible. Really musty and no matter what we did, we couldn't clear it. Also, there was no free water, tea, or coffee. Breakfast was nice, but nothing exciting. It's the standard offering of a few biscuits, toast, yoghurt, croissants and fruit. As the hotel has no restaurant, there was no hot breakfast. All-in-all, we would definitely come back again, we had a lovely time, and the staff were all nice and welcoming.

    The worst massage ever!

    I chose this SPA from TripAdvisor. Seeing the wonderful design and attention to detail we decided to travel for an hour and come from Palermo. We couldn't even imagine that such a hotel could offer the worst massage we have ever had. We are passionate about massage and have had the chance to experience it in different countries, but none of them have been so humiliating in terms of cost and value and expectations too. They put a huge sheet on us and to do the belly massage they put their hand under the half meter of fabric that was hanging from the bed: / not to mention it wasn't even close to a massage but just spreading huge quantities of oil all over us, not the slightest pressure on the muscles and not even above the knees…Surely non recommended for massage… Andrea Proia, Proprietario at Alkamuri Posh Hotel & Spa, responded to this review We regret to learn that your experience with us has been disappointing, the spa staff is very qualified and our partnership with the company "Comfort Zone" allows us to be sure of our skills and professionalism, we will certainly have regard to your review to improve us.

    The hotel is just perfect. We had the best breakfast delivered in the room every morning and the spa treatment including relaxing massage was amazing. The jacuzzi on the rooftop is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Sicily.     I went to homeland for a business trip and didn’t feel like to stay at my parents’s as it was a business trip and needed my space. I was so amazed to discover Alkamuri and the cares the staff reserved for me, gifting me with the most relaxing staying in other the most beautiful spa! Everyone treated me with kindness and made me feel on ease and happy! I hand the best work performance and things are going great! Fully recommended! Ask for Andre, he is the coolest owner ever!
