    Very well situated near the bus and train stations and on the main road onto the 'island' of Ortigis. It's about a 20-minute stroll to Piazza Minerva, on the centre of the island. Lots of restaurants & shops around the area.The room is well equipped for self-catering, though we only used the fridge and kettle. The bed is large and comfortable and x2 wardrobes. The bathroom is basic but adequate. All in all, very worth it for the money paid.

    The best accommodation. Clean, large apartments. Very tidy. Staff friendly. Huge offer for the money. Close to the centre of public transport. A once in a lifetime experience.

    Nice apartment, good location……but don’t bring a car!

    We stayed in a penthouse apartment for a few days in May 2025. It is a nice apartment, clean with all the essentials. The apartment complex is situated quite near Siracusa railways station. We had a car with us as we were in a much longer Sicily trip and this did present some issues as parking in Siracusa is a nightmare, very stressful. If you are visiting Siracusa/Ortigia not only do you not need a car, a car is a positive hindrance……the driving and parking are just awful. We did find a parking house immediately opposite the apartment building at €20 a night. If we were doing this trip again we would probably just have spent 3 nights in Siracusa rather than the 6 we had had booked (we curtailed our stay, not because there was anything wrong with apartment but we wanted to visit these without west of the island) and we would have taken the train to Siracusa station. It is quite possible to walk everywhere you need to in Siracusa and Ortigia although it can be tiring, especially if it is hot…..there are tuktuk (?) that will get you around …….probably best to ask at reception desk for the more reliable ones. Also boat trips.
