Location

Sea-lovers can easily get down to the private rocky beach directly beneath this hotel through a tunnel. The hotel is 10 minutes by car from Taormina centre and just 1 minute from the nearest bus stop. Mount Etna is a 45-minute drive away. The local train station (Taormina/Giardini) is 8 minutes away by car. Catania airport is 75 km away.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2023. The hotel has a lift and features 122 non-smoking rooms, including 2 suites and 96 double rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival.     This is a beautiful hotel. Very peaceful and immaculately maintained. The food is absolutely delicious with a great selection, the menu changes daily. What makes this hotel is the staff. They are consummate professionals but so kind and helpful nothing is too much trouble and you feel it is one big happy family. We had an amazing time and will always remember our time here. Every staff group we encountered were superb the bar staff reception house keeping porters, life guards and the entertainer. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat where you are really well looked after this is the hotel for you

    Just got back from a week at Baia Taormina with my wife (May 2026) and had to leave a few words. The hotel itself is lovely – great room, gorgeous views, and the food was very good every single day.But honestly, what made the trip for us was the people. Reception was warm and helpful from the minute we walked in. The pool and pool bar staff were always kind and genuinely nice.The restaurant team though – that’s where we really felt spoiled. Maitre Randazzo runs things beautifully, and Salvo Samuele, Davide Antonio, Stefano Inna and Laura were a joy every evening. They remembered us, joked with us, and made us feel welcome.We’ll be surely back.

    Baia Taormina is a truly exceptional hotel filled with Sicilian charm and unparalleled customer service. From the delightful reception staff to the waiting staff, the kitchen team and housekeepers, all were very friendly but also extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble.. The hotel has such a calming and relaxed atmosphere, with stunning uninterupted sea views and easy access to the beautiful town of Taormina. Special praise is deserved for chef Andrea who manages a kitchen team which produces outstanding and authentic Sicilian dishes that delight and inspire with a menu changing daily. Very well travelled as I am (across Italy in particular) I have not ever eaten this well on a holiday prior to staying at Baia Taormina! Chef Andrea and others are ably supported by an excellent front of house team headed by maître Franco alongside Inna, Davide, Salvo and many others too numerous to mention here. Trust me, the hotel Baia Taormina is the perfect Sicilian escape destination in every way imaginable.
