  We arrived at the accommodation late at night and were given rooms 425 and 426. Both rooms were in terrible condition and looked completely different from what we had booked and seen in the photos. On top of that, there was a very strong musty smell in both rooms. The likely reason is that the rooms had previously been seriously flooded, as visible signs of water damage could be seen across the entire floor area.The shower in the bathroom was also faulty and sprayed water everywhere, which made the overall experience even worse.We immediately reported the issue through the Booking platform and requested a room change, as in my opinion the severe dampness and moldy condition of the rooms could even be harmful to health. The reception called us within 5 minutes and immediately arranged a replacement. Instead of new rooms, we were upgraded to an apartment as compensation for the inconvenience, which we appreciated.I recommend that everyone ask about the condition of the room when collecting the keys, so they do not end up being assigned these terrible rooms.

  B&B Hotel Palermo Quattro Canti is clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with a wonderful staff. The front desk staff is also outstanding. Very walkable to restaurants, shops and areas of interest. Highly recommend for a stay in the heart of Palermo.

  Just arrived and ordered a suite to surprise my wife. The room was spacious. That’s where the compliments stop. The room is sparse with no classy decor, the bathroom, again large, has broken tiles and no shower and no plug for the bath. No idea how you wash yourself. Reception seemed to think this was normal!!

  They put my luggage in the wrong room and I had to retrieve it late at night to put it in the right room. The broken shower caused my shirt to get soaked and the woman at the desk said just dry it with a hairdryer. So rude!! Fix the shower toothpicks to hold the shower head in place. Terrible experience. Great location, but would never stay here again. And should mention there was black mold all around the bathtub and it was dirty.

  Great value in the heart of Palermo

  This is a typical B&B Hotel, it offers a clean no frills room with everything you need for a pleasant stay; clean comfortable bed, hot shower with a breakfast and in this case an on site restaurant. The front desk staff here are exceptional and always greeted us with a smile, offered knowledgeable advice on where to go in Palermo and patiently guided us by phone to the on site parking through the limited access streets in the area. The housekeeping staff also looked after a problem with a sticking drain plug without us asking. The onsite parking is clean and secure and the hotel is located literally steps from the four corners of old town Palermo.
