  Stayed her for 3 nights with an Overseas Adventure Travel small group tour. The hotel is well located for downtown shops and restaurants. Rooms are a decent size, though dated. The bathroom seems to have been recently updated, but not the bedrooms. The elevators also need updating. If guests are going to multiple floors once someone presses a floor number it goes there first. If someone ahead of you hits the 4th floor and you are on the 2nd you’re stuck going up to 4th before the elevator even allows you to press 2. I’ve never seen elevators work like that. Really messed up! Also the 2 elevators aren’t synched to each other so you may need to call both independently. Also not ideal. The “hot food” on the breakfast buffet was lukewarm even when arriving right when breakfast started. The heated breakfast food trays need to be replaced since they clearly don’t keep the food warm. I had breakfast 3 days with lukewarm coffee, lukewarm and overcooked scrambled eggs, and lukewarm bacon. This is certainly not a 4 star hotel.

  Convenient location—hotel facilities uncomfortable

  The room was a reasonable size. Almost everything in the hotel needed updating. The shower was oddly shaped and small. No matter what we did it leaked onto the floor. We needed more toilet paper; we had to ask for it 3 times.There were almost no drawers in the room. An uncomfortable situation.The breakfast was not good. Almost no fresh fruit, watery scrambled eggs. Lots of pastries.   I recently had a disappointing experience with Best Western that cost me over two hours of my vacation due to a booking error — clearly a Best Western mistake, not mine. The notes on my reservation fully supported that I had done everything correctly. This issue should have been handled internally by the hotel and corporate staff, without my involvement.Instead, I was forced to spend valuable vacation time waiting for calls and emails while staff at the hotel continued to press for additional payment, despite the clear evidence to the contrary. The situation was unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. The staff could have been far more understanding and professional in resolving an issue that was entirely on their end.The hotel is in a great location, which is its main highlight. However, getting an espresso or cappuccino — surprisingly — is very difficult for an Italian hotel. There’s also a €10 surcharge for breakfast, which really isn’t worth it. The coffee is basic drip coffee, and the breakfast itself is just okay. You’re better off skipping it and enjoying breakfast at one of the nearby cafés instead.   Incredibly noisy

  BEWARE- there is an actual live outdoor disco tech or something directly across the street. We stayed there for 3 nights & two of those nights (Wednesday & Friday) there was INCREDIBLY LOUD MUSIC & a DJ screaming until late into the night. Then loud partyers continuing the noise beyond that. You will not sleep.   No way this is a four star hotel

  Sad hotel, poorly maintained, the walls had stains, A/C did not work, my room key did not work, no shampoo nor conditioner, and breakfast was very limited and unappealing. Staff was not particularly warm and welcoming, but not rude. ultimately how this is a four star hotel remains a mistery to me.
