Location

This charming, family-friendly hotel enjoys an excellent location, surrounded by ancient buildings, on a quiet street right in the historic centre of Marsala, only a few metres from the main square of the town, Loggia. The immediate vicinity features restaurants, bars, pubs, nightlife spots and public transport links. The train station is just 500 m from the hotel, whilst Marsala beach is some 1.5 km away. Palermo International Airport and Catania-Fontanarossa Airport are 100 and 300 kilometres away respectively.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1873. Guests have a choice of junior suites, 9 suites, 35 single rooms and 35 double rooms located in a 4-storey main building and a 5-storey auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Great location. Very friendly and helpful service. We had a lovely room with a rooftop terrace overlooking the city and the large church in the photo. The city itself is wonderful with friendly people and pleasant to walk around - even at night.

    This is a well situated hotel ideal for exploring Marsala. There are restaurants nearby and major sites are within walking distance. Rooms are well appointed, beds are comfortable and bathrooms have all the conveniences necessary. They even have towel warmers. Staff is helpful, professional and friendly. Nice for a three night stay

    The front desk staff was very personable; the room was quite large for just 2 of us; and quite clean. Located within the historic area, our balcony overlooked the small side street with restaurants and shop fronts. Downside was trying to drive to it by way of these quaint, very small side streets. The recommended dinner - Trattoria Garibaldi was fantastico. It was definitelyTLZ (and we were intimidated driving tiny alleyways in rental car) but front desk sent our plate info to local police - and no way to reach hotel unless you do TLZ - supposed to keep us from getting serious fine.

    It was the best hotel where we stayed during our travels across Sicily. The staff are superb, the breakfast fantastic and the views from the balcony over the Cathedral magnificent!!! The original art work compliments the interior. Astrida and Paul PS best cannelloni.

    the room was a nice size with queen bed. nice sheets and towels in the bath. the breakfast was good. a lot of breads. front desk helpful and friendly. a good stop -- a good location for visiting some interesting sites in the area. glad we stayed.
