    After driving past a lot of run-down looking properties we were relieved when we arrived at this hotel, the grounds were well manicured and clean with nothing out of place. The rooms followed suit and were very well set out and furnished and best of all very clean.We stayed on a half board basis and the breakfast was continental with plenty of the usual goods. Evening meal was very good, also with a varied selection of local dishes of good quality. If you needed lunch the pool bar served good quality snacks that were freshly made.The bars at the hotel serve a good selection of alcohol and the wine selection with dinner was superb. Our few days there turned out to be a good chance for wine tasting!Staff were all very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. Special shout out to Georgia on reception for being very helpful,very much appreciated.In summary a great hotel, and point to note touring biker friendly as the hotel is near some amazing biking roads Great pool with plenty of space around to relax.The hotel also has a beach bar that can be accessed via the shuttle bus or a short drive down to the beach.

    Late summer break at excellent hotel

    Spent a week at this hotel on a half-board basis. We flew in to Catania Airport which is around a 2 hour drive. The hotel was easy to locate and has a fantastic view over the Bay of Patti. The premises are maintained to a high standard with beautiful gardens and an infinity pool over-looking the Bay. Rooms are serviced on a daily basis to a good standard. The staff were attentive with many speaking good English. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options including omelettes cooked to order. Snacks could be ordered from the poolside bar. Guests on half-board were expected to pre-order the next day's dinner, selecting three courses, including desert, from the four courses on the menu. Each course had three options. We didn't have any problem finding something which appealed and the quality was good with well sized portions. Occasionally, service could be a bit slow in the dining room. The wine list featured mainly Sicilian/Italian wines and had a range of prices from around 28 Euro a bottle. The hotel has an arrangement with a beech side taverna which allows you to use their facilities, free of charge, and have any meals and drinks charged back to your hotel room tab. Overall, an excellent hotel which we would be happy to use again.

    This is such a beautiful hotel! It was very clean, we loved the garden and the pool and the views are incredible. We had a lot of choices for breakfast (we liked the fresh cannoli). We visited taormina, Cefalù and Palermo from this hotel and we didn’t mind the drive. Wish we could come back!

    Good for what it is. The pool is lovely and very well kept, dinner was surprisingly nice with good quality food, and the room was clean. Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough.

    20th Wedding Anniversary

    My husband and I booked a seven night stay here for our 20th wedding anniversary and what a lovely week we had.We arrived at the hotel very hot and somewhat frazzled after a long day's travelling but were greeted with very friendly receptionists. When we got to our room I was very disappointed as it was small and dark with a very limited view. When my husband told the receptionist how upset I was they immediately moved us to a far better room with a lovely sea view.After that there were no complaints. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, the rooms and public areas were clean, as was the lovely pool area.The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive with cereals, fruit, yogurts, cheese, cold meats, the usual pastries such as croissants, together with a lovely selection of Sicilian pastries. You could also order freshly made omelettes and scrambled eggs.The setting of the hotel affords beautiful views of the sea, being set up the hillside, but they do offer a shuttle service to the beach where you can find sunloungers and parasols.Unless you take the bus or use taxis I would recommend you hire a car as the hotel is a couple of miles from the town of Patti, which is rural sicilly rather than a tourist town.The only complaint I would have is that a week wasn't long enough! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to go back.
