    Casa Turchetti is a wonderful family-run hotel in the heart of Taormina, Sicily. The property beautifully preserves its historic character and authentic Sicilian charm, while offering spacious, impeccably clean rooms with generously sized beds.Nestled in a peaceful location, the hotel is just a two-minute walk from the vibrant Corso Umberto, making it the perfect base for exploring the town. Buses, taxis, and the beach funicular are all conveniently located within a 5–10 minute walk.What truly sets Casa Turchetti apart is the exceptional hospitality of its owners, Pino and Francesca, and their daughters, Flavia and Stephanie. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. Their genuine warmth and pride in the hotel shine through in every detail.Breakfast was a delight, featuring locally sourced fruits, meats, and cheeses, alongside delicious homemade marmalades and cakes. In the late afternoons, Francesca hosted aperitivos on the beautiful terrace, where guests could enjoy breathtaking views of Taormina, Mount Etna, and the Ionian Sea.The family also recommended several excellent local restaurants that we would never have discovered on our own, adding greatly to our overall experience. During our stay, we visited the Greek Theatre, attended an Italian opera performance, explored Isola Bella, and took a trip to nearby Castelmola.All in all, it was a truly memorable stay. Casa Turchetti combines charm, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina.

    My wife and I had the pleasure of 3 wonderful nights at Casa Turchetti in Taormina. Casa Turchetti is very centrally located with a magnificent view of Mt.Etna and the bay from the terrace. The original palazzo was meticulously restored a few years ago with charm and great attention to detail. Our room had nice touches such as a romantic Juliet balcony highlighted by gorgeous geraniums.The hospitality and attentiveness of Francesca and her family were outstanding – welcoming, friendly, accommodating. The recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do were also top-notch.The breakfast spread was tremendous with both sweet and savory offerings, with many items homemade.In short, THE best overall experience one can hope for in Taormina.     A Gem in Taormina!

    Every review is a 5.0 and I can certainly see why. Casa Turchetti was the most welcoming Sicilian home during our four days in Taormina. Family-run, Flavia and Francesca are so friendly and helpful. There is a panoramic terrace featuring the Greek theater on the left to Mt. Etna on the right and everything in between! The location is steps away from the corso. The homemade breakfast on the terrace was a highlight. The very clean room was authentically Sicilian with a Juliet balcony too!     What a wonderful place

    What a wonderful place. We were made to feel so welcome by Francesca, her husband Pino and her daughter Flavia. Nothing was too much trouble. They looked after us in many ways, recommending places to visit and places to eat, which were all superb. Flavia kindly booked some tickets for an evening of famous Operatic songs. What a delight.The building itself is beautiful. An historic Sicilian house that has been lovingly cared for and exquisitely decorated. The rooms had such character. A wonderful breakfast is served on the roof terrace. There was everything you could wish for and the terrace had the most fabulous view. Mount Etna stood to one side and an Ancient Greek theatre to the other with the sparkling sea in between. It provided a peaceful retreat after the bustle of Corso Umberto. A big thank you to Francesca and her family for making our stay so enjoyable. Thanks also to Cosima, Maria, Paola and the young man who served at breakfast.     The perfect stay in beautiful Taormina.

    Stayed here for 4 nights in April and everything was perfect. Beautiful building and a lovely big room. Incredible terrace to enjoy drinks or the delicious and plentiful breakfast. Views of snow capped Etna were stunning. Great location up a side street just off the main shopping street. No traffic allowed, so the room was blissfully quiet at night. However what made the holiday, were the owners and staff. Run by Francesca and Pino, with their daughter Flavia, were the perfect hosts. Along with lovely staff in the breakfast room, and cleaning the rooms, it felt more like we were part of the family rather than guests. Little things like Francesca making sure we hadn’t left for home before she had a chance to hug us goodbye. We always feel staying in a small place is much more personal, and this was the best we have ever been to.
