    We booked a room with a balcony, but they placed us in a room without a balcony with the sentence "Roberto has placed you in a more expensive room." Only after the second attempt, we get the room we reserved. How can a more expensive room without a balcony (with the same contents) be more expensive than a room with a balcony? Everything in the toilet is rusted, the dirt from the shower has fallen apart. Staff very gloomy!

    We wanted to come to sicliy for ages and we could not have picked a better place.... warm pleasant breeze off the sea making the 30 degree heat pleasant and not over bearing, beautiful Sunsets, the staff were wonderful, so warm and friendly and amazing with our children... we stayed for 7 nights and only ventured out on 2 day trips because we loved the vibe of the place so much... with outdoor cooking facilities for an al fresco dinner and local shops selling amazing ingredients (and wine) a bike ride away through vineyards and olive groves.... they have a fleet of bikes you can use at no extra cost, not to mention paddles boards and conoes... everything was as clean as a whistle with fresh linen and the likes being changed daily... Great experience....thank you Roberto and your team we will certainly be visiting you guys in the future 😀 😊 👍

    We stayed one night - it was dirty - mould in the shower - no water for about an hour - and there was a live rat on the balcony. One bedside lamp was broken.There was NOTHING to recommend this hotel. Roberto Cordaro, Proprietario at Relais Lo Stagnone, responded to this review salve fortunatamente abbiamo tantissime recensioni che smentiscono quello che scrivete la struttura è stata fatta 3 anni fa non ce muffa il topo non lo so ma fuori da casa mia anch'io mi è capitato di vede un topo con questo cosa vuole dire la struttura è situata al centro della riserva dello stagnone se fuori passa un topo un gatto un uccello non è competenza mia mica era in camera

    We were a group of 10 people looking for new accommodation as previous one was a scam. Three of us shared a big room with a balcony, facing the side of the property. It was off season and Roberto was just getting ready to open Relais officially. It's not a 5star place, but it was cozy and Roberto was super nice: he adjusted our breakfast to include more savoury options, opened a bottle of champagne for us all to celebrate, gave us tips of where to go dine in Marsalla and arranged transportation. I loved sipping coffee facing the sea and the sunsets are just stunning. Within walking distance from the kitespot it was just perfect for our group.Thank you Roberto for such a warm welcome and for the little Italian lessons.     This place is ok. Has free parking and is opposite the water and a jetty. No lift, so packed what we needed in our back packs and carried those up. Room clean and spacious. Bathroom has a big shower (slow drainage, had to stop the water 3 times as it looked like it would overflow). Hair dryer is awesome. Soap and shampoo provided. Empty fridge also provided and a flat screen TV. Wifi and air conditioner worked well. Water dripped constantly though from the air conditioner. Was noisy at night. Breakfast was nice with a good variety. Ok for a short stay. Photos on the website definitely photo shopped! Was charged 1 Euro each for city tax. Not great but an ok place. Staff were nice and tried to communicate with limited English. Photos provided of what the outdoor area actually looks like.
