    The worst hotel of our 3 week trip in Sicily

    The worst hotel during our 3 week trip in sicily. The wifi did not work in our room, we told the lady at réception abd did not do anything to help. We wanted to eat on the balcony near the lobby and they told us we were not allowed (we had to eat in our room), I took one more towel on the cleaning cart and they accused me of stealing. The breakfest was very limited. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The Perfect Place to Stay When Visiting Cefalu

    Hotel Mediterraneo is a great place to stay when visiting Cefalu. Not only is it conveniently located close to the main train station (which is essential when it comes to traveling to and from the city) as well as the historical city center, it's also just a friendly place.The staff are super helpful and made all of us feel at ease. They were in contact with us before our stay even started to make sure that everything went smoothly and were always willing to answer any and all questions that we might've had.And the rooms? They're comfortable and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. They are a bit outdated and in need of some freshening up (and the showers could be a little bit bigger), but the rooms were just what my family and I needed during our visit to the town of our ancestors.I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I'm so glad that we found Hotel Mediterraneo.

    Rare find in Cefalu

    Currently enjoying our stay here in Mediterraneo, Cefalu after a stressful night in Palermo. What a difference!First of all the kindest and most helpful front desk staff. Genuinely lovely natured and they helped us settle in quickly to our room which we found clean, well proportioned and quiet.Breakfast is a good selection of cakes, cereal and some savouries. You won't find full English breakfast here though which we didn't mind. It is so good to enjoy delicious sweet things. A very short distance from the train station and about 8 minutes to the "Centro". 5 minutes to the beach. Ideal and away from the bustle if the more touristy area of Cefalu.The area is well maintained, fresh pots of plants and flowers adorn the hill steps, a good selection of shops to peruse, the food here is beautiful. Friendly to dogs too . We have fallen in love with the place and we will definitely be returning to Mediteraneo in the future for more exploring.

    I just came back from cefalu hotel was nice in a great location Was clean but need a full make over Our bathroom door handle kept coming offThe bathroom fixtures need renewing because they was very dated And a tiny showerThe breakfast wasn’t that great not a lot of choice The staff was really nice recommended some places to see It’s a shame it could be a great hotel

    Great hotel in magnificent city of Cefalù

    Centrally located Hotel Mediterraneo in the beautiful Sicilian city of Cefalù with an easy walk to the beach or to old town with its amazing historical sites and Cathedral. We spent a day at the beach and another day walking the old town with guide extraordinaire Salvatore Mendola from Sicily Choice who is a local resident and full of the history and lore of Cefalù and so rightfully proud of this beautiful city. We plan to return one day soon to spend more time in this enchanting city by the sea, the rooms at the hotel were comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful, and an amazing breakfast, the best we had during our two weeks in Sicily!
