The hotel is well situated at the harbor. The breakfast is good and the help efficient. The hotel is quite pretty. However——Room 107 was the last room available or we would have immediately moved. Upon entry, the room had a bad odor and the bathroom even worse- not exactly mildew, but stale and not good. The room was very dark with a small window to the courtyard but the way the shutter was set, you couldn’t even see the sky - dreary. Other rooms we saw had better windows and some had lovely views of the harbor. I’m sure 107 is the worst room in the place! Too bad for us! No bottled waters offered either which seemed standard at every other hotel we visited in Sicily. I would not book this place again.

We paid €280 a night for this hotelroom the room was, dark and only had a small window which didn't open, there was no outside space, so couldn't dry our swimming stuff. The pool is tiny, there is only one tent for shade for 2 people, which was always occupied, so we couldn't use the pool.The parking is 10 minutes walk away uphill and costs €15 a day, but this goes up to €20 per day if you don't use your car, as they sub-rent out your space even though you've paid for it. The breakfast is mainly different types of coirssants, there is no cooked breakfast or vegetarian options.On the plus side, Castelmare del Golfo is very pretty, it's easy to go to Palermo, Mazara Del Valo, Trapani and Marsala or day trips.

Lovely little hotel, great location, huge choice for breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff.My only negative is that the bathroom towels were old and not great quality - they definitely need replacing.

A nice hotel with excellent location

We had a great stay in a nice and clean room, with our own entrance and private little area in the backyard. The hotel has a nice swimming pool, good service and great location. Reason for not giving 5 stars is the parking (10 minute walk) and quality of the breakfast.

This is a lovely place right on the harbour. Clean, good selection of continental breakfast, a lovely courtyard area to relax with a book or mingle if you wanted. Staff helped us sort out a day trip and offered to drive us to bus stop on time, some spoke English but all were helpful. Rooms have everything you need. Good communication before we arrived also. There is a bar nearby but that’s only weekend and if you close windows etc is fine. Would recommend this hotel definitely
