    Basic hotel across from the train station and near the bus terminal. Clean and compact. No fridge in room but otherwise was ok. Breakfast was unexpectedly very good. A few minutes to the Island of Ortygia and Neapolis, two main attractions. A few restaurants in immediate area...

    I spent a week at Hotel Como, which is now one of my favourite hotels ever. It is opposite the train station, and round the corner from the bus station. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection was perfect for me - fresh croissants, bread, fruit juice, and coffee. I enjoyed the stroll along Corso Umberto to get to Ortigia, which is the main bustling crowded historical island. I knew it was a popular destination, but even so I was a bit surprised at the huge number of tourists! However, it's possible to amble along side streets and find some quiet areas.Grazie, Giuseppe, and everyone else whose names I didn't get, for the warm and friendly welcome.

    Nice little hotel right across from Syracuse train station. We were given a fairly large room overlooking the backyard, where it was quiet (windows facing the station are more problematic in terms of noise due to traffic). Internet is fast, rooms are big.Breakfast - croissant and coffee or tea. If you are expecting a selection of salads and hot dishes, then you will be disappointed. There are no kettles in the rooms. It is noteworthy that there is a kettle at the reception, but we were refused, explaining that "the owner did not allow kettles to be provided to guests." The last fact with the kettle spoiled our impression of the hotel a little, especially since our child was coughing and he needed hot tea before bed.

    Perfect for train travelers! The staff are super friendly and helpful. One 1 person spoke fluent English, but they all had some and tried hard, so communication was not a problem. They held our luggage with no charge. Rooms are simple, but clean and everything worked as it should. Breakfast was plentiful. Don't hesitate to choose this hotel.

    Stayed only one night but enjoyed 100% . Clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Decent size room, AC. - basically everything you may want! Have nothing negative to say! Breakfast was excellent! Scrambled eggs best I had in long time! Will definitely return!!!
