    In front op the appartment is big drilling complex24/7 very hard noise from trucks, cranes ectSitying outsite is not possible en sleeping only with earplugsDO NOT go to there

    Our Favourite Stay in Sicily

    A great place to stay if in Taormina area. Always exceptionally clean, the place is truly Beautiful, with big gardens and plenty of space to park.Great for family holidays also. Close enough to all the important places to visit but far enough to have peace and quiet. We have visited 2 years after each other and will keep staying here as we don't think it can get better than this, value wise and beautiful surrounding wise.

    From the minute you drive through the gates you are greeted by beautifully landscaped and maintained gardens. Can't be easy in the heat ! Rosanna and Simone came to collect us from the bus stop and were so warm and friendly, and this continued for the duration of our stay. Thank you so much for all your assistance over our week with you. Our room was good. Immaculately clean, comfortable and with fabulous views every morning. Used the sandwich toaster almost daily and having a counter top oven too was really handy. This is a self catering property and extras such as towels changes and cleaning mid stays can be requested but are not included. This was made clear, so the previous negative reviews in this regard seem unfair.Wanted to mention the pool area which is stunning. The quality of the loungers that had a full head shade over them was wonderful in the July heat. The team who worked at the pool bar were just lovely. Antoinella and Giovanna, thankyou for always being so happy.     - the hotel is outside of trapittello, the view is beautiful but you cant walk around there, there is only a busy street in front - the service was catastrophic: 7 days no room cleaning - after 7 days we asked the hotel staff and they told us we have to take the garbage out ourselves - if you ask that of your customers you can't call yourself a hotel (i do not want to criticize Rosanna who was a very charming person even though she didnt respond to phone messages)- beds were very bad (worn out of too soft mattresses)- very basic kitchen-equipment considering the room-prices donvittorio Reservation, Servizi per gli ospiti/front office at Don Vittorio Country Village, responded to this review Arrogance, conceit and nastiness are a very bad thing. You were at the Don Vittorio in April, booking through a very well known channel, which deleted your review on their site (and they do this very rarely) because you wrote the fake. As you have been told several times, the Don Vittorio is not a hotel, the daily cleaning, as well as the change of linen are extra services for a fee, well indicated on the site where you booked. So when you state that you were not cleaned, that you did not have a change of linen, etc. you are making a false statement. These are paid services, which you did not request. In all the apartments, there is all the information on the table, among which it says that the rubbish is to be put in the appropriate containers by the guests. Your misconduct was not reported to the site where you booked, because your husband apologised for you when you started shouting. In order to avoid being unfairly attacked again, the property is considering taking legal action.Don Vittorio Country Village
