    Not even close to luxury. Noisy, in poor shape, no person at the the front desk from 10pm to 8am

    This hotel was incredibly noisy. I am surprised they do not provide a sound machine and ear plugs in each room. There is absolutely nothing luxurious about it. The 4.5 rating from Trip Advisor reviews is baffling.

    We stayed here for two nights. We were actually planning to stay somewhere else but due to overbooking we got moved here. And we were not disappointed! This hotel is perfectly located on the pedestrian street and a block from the main square. The rooms are spacious and modern, with mini kitchens. Each room has a different movie related theme. We had a small balcony with a fun view. The breakfast was excellent — fresh and a good selection, and much more intimate of an experience than a big breakfast buffet room. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful — special shoutout to Virginia!

    This the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It is located right across the street from some extremely noisy night clubs, so you will never fall asleep before midnight, at the earliest. You will probably have to take a few aspirins to relieve your headache. No one is at the front desk to help you. The help line is useless. You need a PHD in computer science to figure out how to turn on the light, flush the toilet, or use the AC. The chairs in the room are not made for a normal human body…..sit at your own risk. There are not enough bad things I can say about this poor excuse of a hotel.

    While the location is excellent, Duomo Suites is noisy, tired and poorly maintained. Paint peeling on the walls in shower and bathroom. Broken handles. Stained sofa. People on the street partying through the night. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very limited and served in a tiny room.

    Well located hotel near the Catania cathedral and all the shopping area. Hotel is a renovated house, with OKish refurbishments but it clearly does not merit the 4 stars. Rooms are not that big, and small issues around (poor quality of the mattress, shower telephone hook loose and not operational, for instance) Finally, parking (obviously ) is an issue. As a guest you need to park nearby in the courtyard of a house 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Overall OK but it needs to improve a bit in the room comfort.
