    The wrong place

    The hotel is connected to residential housing which made for long nights of noise, people dog etc. The staff was not real friendly or helpful would recommend this place.

    Fabulous hotel with excellent service and room, and outstanding views. Balcony overlooking the bay and castle. Dinner was lovely and the breakfast was included and was delicious. We only stayed one night and wish it was more. We intend to come back.

    Lovely hotel on a hill with stunning views

    An excellent hotel with stunning views from the pool area. Free parking is also available.The rooms are spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast and a la carte dishes were of a high quality. The staff is very friendly and communicated well in English. Our stay was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel.

    Disappointing service from the staff. Hotel confirmed that we will have a sea view room 3 months before our check-in. Upon check-in, room does not have any view. Staff just said that they made a mistake and now they are fully booked and cannot do anything.

    A great Hotel

    Noted the number of negative reviews re this property, however we did NOT find any relevant to our stay. We asked for a bath _ we got one, even though it was a large spa bath it was much appreciated. We knew the hotel was a little out of the city centre when we booked (although we did think it closer to the port) and the location whilst steep gave us a wonderful view of the harbour. The staff were not as fluent in English as some, however we are in Sicily so to be expected. They were all very nice and accommodating. The view of Mt Etna is superb as was the night vista of the town. There was a pool open. Yes there is little in the way of room service or pool service, however the town is close enough to walk and the reception staff are able to make drinks for you. Above all we enjoyed the view, the politeness of staff, the amenity of our room, and the fact that a junior suite was (we thought) reasonably priced. The breakfast whilst not western was (we believe) typical Italian so no complaints. If ever in Milazzo again would stay here….the old historic castle is also just a short walk from the hotel.
