    The hotel is a scam. Don't ever go there. Based on this first experience Sicilians are truly the lowest scum of Europe. Never again.

    The hotel is clean and basic, a cheap and cheerful hotel with a great location. 5 minutes walk from the bus stop to Mondello Beach, around 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of town and around 30-40 minutes walk to the train station which can take you to Cefalu and the bus stop which can take you to Monreales. It is located on a main road and the air conditioning is not that strong. However, the reception staff are absolutely outstanding Pedro and Giavanni are kind, knowledgeable about the city and will go out of their way to help you and make conversation with you. They definitely deserve a raise in salary!

    Do not walk, run away from this hotel. The air conditioning didn't work, the shower door is broken, the carpets are dirty, and they don't have irons because the there is something wrong with the voltage in the hotel. The rooms look much worse than the pictures. I'm stayed here for work, and it was terribly hot. Plus noisy if you open the window.

    I was in Palermo for 5 days, my third visit to one of my favourite cities! I chose the Europa for its location and price. It was good value. The room and bathroom were clean, the Continental breakfast selection very good, everyone friendly at reception and breakfast.My one problem was the mattress. I prefer a firm mattress, but this was like sleeping on a bare concrete floor. I piled up all the towels and the spare blanket, which helped. The pillows were quite sturdy as well, but there were soft spares in one of the cupboards.
