    Lovely villas, very clean and comfortable. Easiest fold out bed downstairs. Basic kitchen (no oven) as well as the benefit of an outdoor hob to avoid heating the house, plus a bbq. Pool access direct from terrace or a very short walk. Pool has a diving board but no longer a slide, lifeguard on duty, loungers and parasols. Two supermarkets, ATM and several restaurants within 5-10 min drive. Short walk to a lovely little beach, also found a lovely little rocky cove down a footpath just uphill from MD supermarket. Manager and staff are friendly and helpful, villa is cleaned and bedding/towels changed midweek. Be aware that tourist tax is to be paid in cash. About a 15 min drive/bus to Cefalù but the main beach is crazy busy so we stuck to the local ones. Watch out, there are a lot of ants, do not leave any food or packaging out ever, and of course lots of mosquitoes. Air conditioning worked well but is payable separately (cost us £43 for 8 days with careful use). All in all very pleased with the accommodation, a great place to stay. Plus lots of friendly cats to pet 🐱

    Lovely villa in a small complex. Clean and quiet. Staff all friendly and guiseppe the manager very helpful. Short walk to a lovely small beach. Will need a car to access then and shops. Great choice for those who prefer quite locations.

    Fontana Barone does not comply with its deposit refund policy.Despite the written commitments of this hotel during the booking, I have been waiting for two months for the refund of my 30% deposit for a stay in August 2020. To date, I have no answer indicating a date of refund.

    A fantastic locations, immaculate gardens and the cleanest swimming pool you will ever see. Vilas are the perfect size and layout for a family holiday, with everything you need. Any facilities not available in the villas are available on site. Enclosed with gated access the complex is perfect for children, and the bar area offers play facilities for toddlers to teenagers. The bar is open most of the day service excellent coffee and a selection of beers and wines, and food can be ordered in if you don't fancy cooking. With easy access to the motorway and in close proximity to Cefalu and the Madone park this is the perfect place from which to explore this part of Sicily.     Fontana Barone Residence is a small, idyllic holiday resort, just above the sea & outside Cefalu. Comfortable Sicilian style houses with airco & outside kitchen are equipped with everything you need. Enclosed by beautiful gardens.
