    A truly terrible place

    I agree with Nomdevdt. That host screaming through an amplifier all day and into the night might appeal to some, but not me. It’s a deal-breaker. And I pity anyone who lives nearby. I went to the beach a kilometer away and could even hear the shouting there.

    On arrival, we were greeted by thumping second rate gym bunny music and a DJ shouting inanities over a loudspeaker to a half empty hotel. If rest or relaxation or sleep or the sound of birds and the sea matter at all to you, avoid this place like you would a coughing COVID patient. Tacky beyond belief. And a pox on a place that might otherwise sublime.

    Great location, close to the Greek historical sites, but an extremely noisy pool area

    After a long drive from Gela, arriving in the late afternoon we tried to enjoy the last sun rays at the pool. To our surprise the pool area was transformed to a Gym / fitness / Karaoke area, the sound out of the loudspeakers was so high that I was unable to talk to my wife.We decided to visit the Greek Historical sites before the sunset. This was a great decision.We highly recommend planning a complete visit not only of the Temple but to include also the visit of the Acropolis.This region is really great, close by you can visit Menfi, in the middle of nice vineyards as well the Riserva Naturale Foce del Fiume Belice.The breakfast at the hotel was quite nice even if we felt a little bit lost in this large restaurant room, it was a pity not to be able to seat outside by such a great weather.

    Let’s start with the positives: all the front desk staff were exceptional in terms of helpfulness & politeness, as was Giuseppe who ran the free shuttle bus to the beautiful beach nearby. Francesca was also brilliant & attentive at breakfast - it was only a pity the food in this hotel is so poor. This is at best a 3 star hotel, offering basic & limited accommodation - no frills. Although it boasts free WIFI - it was impossible to access it from the room. If you are a young family and / or like blaring disco music & a microphoned DJ organising party games virtually all day - from 9.30 am to midnight, then this hotel may appeal to you? So some tips if booking: 1) If you want sleep go for a back room overlooking the olive groves. 2) Check out their cancellation policy, which is not posted online. 3) Bring loads of mosquito repellent! As there were many disgruntled guests it is hard to tell what clientele this hotel is really geared for - but certainly it was not for us.

    Stayed here with a group. We got dropped off by coach, and so were stuck there! I can cope with buffet breakfast, but buffet dinner!!! Bar sold poor quality, expensive red wine! Difficult to get onto wifi!
