    We spent 3 nights at the Grand Hotel Sofia, Noto and had two lovely rooms overlooking the pool and a nice balcony to enjoy the views. The stay was very pleasant and the room very clean! The hotel is well located in the beginning of Noto. Parking was safe within the hotel grounds. Breakfast was good and the waiter very friendly and helpful too. We would like to praise the receptionist Michele, who was very friendly, helpful and gave us some good tips on what to do and where to go with the kids. Thank you Michele, we will be back in the near future from Malta.

    Noto: A Great Oasis

    We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in this thoroughly modern hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our stay included breakfast each day which was plentiful and filled with variety. It is well within walking distance of the old historic downtown where there were lots of sites to see and cafes for an "Americano" and some tasty treat. In the evening there was a fine restaurant at the hotel or many great restaurants within walking distance downtown. Noto is well located as a launching site to visit other historical cities and sites in southeast Sicily. Unfortunately no train service, only bus or automobile.

    Best choice in Noto, except for location

    This is probably the best and the biggest hotel in Noto. Only flaw was that it was almost 20 minutes walk uphill to the main attraction, the old street area with palaces. But the hotel itself was very modern, very spacious inside and out including the room. It's smart to ask for a view room, as the layout of this building is quite odd and you can get stuck with a view of a wall in some rooms. Very good breakfasts and for dinner a very good restaurant with excellent service. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed our stay here.

    Functional hotel, very clean and tidy. Large bedrooms, good shower, good wifi, comfy bed, rooms with balconies. Situated on the outskirts of Noto, a 15 min walk to the centre. A building with little local influence but serves a purpose. I guess useful for those driving (large car park) and those on business.Breakfast OK, it's a hotel which caters for coach parties so the relevant coach party comes into breakfast all at the same time, the hotel must know this happens but couldn't cope with the influx all at once. There is only one coffee machine plus one expresso machine, which for about 110 people all trying to have breakfast at once was bonkers, they definitely need to invest in another machine. We were not part of either of the coach parties so we just had to wait until the chaos was over.We stayed as a couple as part of a cycling holiday.

    Nice Hotel close to the centre of NOTO

    Nice hotel close to the centre of NOTO and big parking space. We always go to this hotel, so we are close to Noto, Syracuse, Avola, Fontana Bianca, ... also Catania Airport is only 40 minutes away. Accomodation (Junior Suite) is great, breakfast is one of the best we saw in Italy.Swimming pool is great ! What else do you need more ?
