    Spacious room with terrible bathroom and in noisy area

    We stayed for 2 nights on Saturday and Sunday night in executive room which was more like a corner suite with three separate balconies. On one side was noisy road and on another loud bar so we did not have good night sleep.I would not give it 4 stars - I agree with other reviewers.Hotel does not let you switch the heating on and there is polyester blanket with sheet available instead of duvet so I don’r recommend staying there in the Winter as they are not prepped for colder weather. Overall furnishings are basic.The only good thing is plenty of space with corridor leading to bedroom.Breakfast had really nice lemon and pistachio cake and some continental options as well as scrambled eggs. The issue was the bathroom: it was mouldy and smelly - I had gagging reaction when I was entering.Location is good for old town and train station - 10 min in each direction. People at reception are pleasant and responsive but I would probably not stay again as basic needs like sleep and washing was not met.

    Really decent Hotel... No complaints, room was cleaned everyday, Breakfast was included... Not the best, plenty of room for improvement but alright... Coffee was dreadful , maybe that is just me... but a 2 minute walk outside solved that problem... All in all, really good value... Decent largeish clean room and breakfast for two for less than the price of a shabby, very average Bed and Breakfast in the UK...

    Charming Sicilian Hotel within walking distance to Ortiga

    This is a charming Sicilian hotel just across the bridge from bustling historic Ortiga. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast and made to order cafe is delicious. Bonus - complimentary granita is provided to hotel guests daily in the lobby. A/C is a welcome respite to escape the hot summer temps.
