    Modern trendy hotel in a very central location

    From the outside it is hard to picture the hotel, but once you go through the door into the main courtyard you get a sense of calm in amongst the centre of the city. The bedroom was a very good size, very modern, clean and had a great vibe. The staff on reception were so friendly and so helpful. We arrived early and they were able to check us in and on our last day stored our luggage and booked a shuttle to the airport for 25 euros. The hotel is very central to all the main sights to see in town and easy to walk to. The breakfast was delicious and clearly all freshly homemade with attentive but not intrusive staff helping out. We would highly recommend this lovely small boutique hotel for a calm, modern and peaceful place to stay in the wonderful city of Catania.

    I have awarded top marks to this hotel. The team of staff are so friendly and quietly attentive. They made us feel welcome in the first minute we arrived. Our room was large, modern and clean with a super bathroom. Great shower, comfy bed. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on the first evening. We were tired from travelling and welcomed staying close. Food was really good, we both enjoyed this. Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant…. What a treat! Fabulous buffet style, additional paid for options are available but we didn’t need those because the buffet range was excellent. The location is really good, easy walking to everywhere we wanted to go and to public transport links. We would 100% staff here again.

    The reception staff were fantastic and their restaurant recommendations excellent.The room, ground floor 01 was functional and spacious but the only window was opaque and had bars on the outside, or so it seemed. I like minimalist decor but unfortunately this room is drab. The breakfast was limited as it had been demolished by a horde of Americans. The air port bus stop is within a 100 metres, thus avoiding the infamous Italian taxi drivers.The hotel was in easy reach of the city centre and the Teatro Bellini which we were visiting for the opera.

    The hotel enjoys a lovely setting and features a welcoming courtyard that adds a relaxing touch to the atmosphere.Breakfast was enjoyable in terms of quality, though the selection remained unchanged throughout our three-day stay, offering little variation from one morning to the next. A small note for improvement: bottled water in the room and a simple welcome drink upon arrival would have been appreciated and would have elevated the overall experience.

    Room claustrophobic in the attic with only skylights.Price charged , EUR 405, outrageous , also considering price listed on Tripadvisor and other websites.I was probably taken for a ride , I was in a hurry otherwise I would have complained with the City Tourist Office.
