    This place was convenient, clean, central, nearby amazing little places to eat, a nice place to stay for a night or two, the breakfast was nice as well (unlimited it seemed), all in all it was a good place, just expensive for the room which was average,

    We had a two-bedroom apartment, a living room, and a balcony. The living room furniture was old and mismatched -- it reminded me of a grad student's apartment, but everything was clean and functional. We considered 65 euro a night divided by two persons to be a bargain.

    Only place I never want to see again! Felt unsafe, dingy, mis_ represented and lack of customer service. Dismal. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Very few choices in Messina as alternatives. Booked for two nights and stayed one. If I could have gotten a car in the middle of the night I would have been out of there. No one spoke any English and could care less about you! We are surprised of your considerations and we are sorry that your stay was not pleasant. The hotel is in the city centre and is very safe and quiet. The reception is open till 19:00 but we are available over the Phone h24. At the reception we speak several languages but we give priority to the English because is essential in our industry.     The let us stay in front of the hotel for 1 hour!!! We told them our time of arrival but they don't have a reception. You have to ring a bell and it doesn't work. you have to communicate with a telephone voice who is not physically present at the hotel. NEVER AGAIN room was nice though

    So close to the station and shopping yet in a quiet location.My "suite" was on the third floor. Comprised a bedroom, sitting/dining room/ small kitchen with stove top.(both rooms with balconies) and a small but adequate bathroom. I thought it was good value. Don't expect a decent breakfast, although there were fresh pastries. There is not 24 hour reception and not a lot of english is spoken but the staff are very helpful when they are there. My room was clean and well maintained.
